Shutterbug (With Vic Fuentes and Niall Horan)

Chapter 5

Niall and i walked from stage to stage while i wrote down each band's name and gave them a rating from a scale of 1-10 and making a few side notes about each one, what i liked, what i didn't etc.  Until finally Niall and i said our goodbyes and he headed back to his while i started for the catering tent.  I was walking half minded in the stream of people, typing away on my phone when i run into someone, knocking me back a few steps.

"Whoah! I'm so sorry man."  I said catching my balance.  

the stranger gripped onto my arm, still not meeting my gaze.  Something was familiar about the dark brown hair covered by a hat that was covered by a hood.  Tony.  "Ah! Oh hey, Lennon."  

The look of worry raced off his face and a smile sprouted.  "Ah, are you okay? i'm so s-"

"Im fine Lennon."  He said cutting me off.  "You're okay."  He laughed.  "Hey, i was just heading back to the buses, would you walk with me?"  i guess i could call it a day.  I could Up load the pictures i took at the Pirece the Veil's set, maybe add some captions.  

I nodded and we turned in the other direction and started walking.  "So, how was your day?"  I said bubbily, making conversation.

He sighed. "Good, good, and your's?"

"Mine was-"  i paused, not sure how to describe it.  "Full."  i finally say with a slighted nod in of my head.

"Did you like our show?"  He asked, hopeful.

I nodded.  "Very much, You guys are one of my favorite bands on this tour."

He placed his hand over his heart, acting honored.  "Vic will be happy to hear that."

I looked at him with confusion.  "Vic?"

"Yeah, he really values your opinion."  He paused.  "He really just values you in general."  He said sighing.  I didn't say anything.  "You're like a little sister to him, i don't know he feels protective of you.  Same goes for Mike, Jaime and I, but Vic takes it to a whole new level."

I laughed, "I know, i don't think he approves of me hanging with Niall."

Tony shoved his hands in his pockets.  "Yeah, like i said Big Brother Vic." 

  Even with all his tattoos, sloppy hair and huge plugs, Tony still looked so hugable, like a teddy bear, you just want to hug and squeeze.  I laughed shoving my shoulder into his upper arm.

 Leaning my head back, resting it on the wooden divider, separating me from the fridge as i sat in the booth waiting for my pictures for PTV's set to upload.  I closed my eyes, only to focus on a strange man standing in front of me when i open them once again.  "Vic? the fuck?"

He laughed, slidding in the booth across from me. "I just wanna talk." 

The way he said his last word made me feel as if i was in trouble.  "O-okay...?"

She sighed and took my hand into his.  i shut my laptop with my free hand.  "About this Niall fellow-"

"Why don't you like him?"  I rolled my eyes.

He tightened his grip on my hand, and shook his head in shock.  "No! No! I don't mind him."  He laughed, "I was just wondering how much you liked him?"

I looked down at my hand that was firmly in between both of his.  "W-why?"

"Because i just want you to be aware of what you're getting yourself into."  He paused looking me in the eyes.  "You know, having a boyfriend, a super star boy friend."

I pulled my hand away from his and crossed them across my chest.  I was flattered that he cared so much as to come talk to me about it but i wasn't sure how i felt, much less sure i wanted to talk about it.  But i guess he gave me no choice.  "Look, Vic, you're like a brother to me, and i'm flattered that you want to talk to me about Niall but the truth is, there's nothing to talk about.  Niall and I are just friends.  I know that yes, he does in fact like me, but he hasn't made any attempt to take things to that level."  I paused, searching his face that had fallen to the floor.  "Yet."  I said and his gaze snapped up.

"Well."  He said standing up.  "I guess my job here is done."  He turned and walked to the door.

"Vic, wait!"  I said, running up to him and throwing my arms around his neck.  "You're the best brother-friend i've ever had."  I said not letting go of him.

I felt his warm breath on my neck.  "Yeah, a brother."  he whispered.  i wasn't sure if i was supposed to hear it or not so i just dismissed it.
