It's been almost 2 months since I were in Matt's party. And 2 months has been since I saw him again and until now I can't still believe that I saw him that day"I have to go" dad says and went outside. As the day passed by I've notice my dad being so busy. He's always in his work and he actually being so weird these past few days
I head up the stairs and start preparing because dad will fetch me here tonight. He told me we'll go to the hotel and I feel so boring if I'll stay here so why not to come, right?
*****************************
"Ok, so what are we suppose to do here dad?" I ask with confusion because we're just standing and seem waiting for something
I thought we're gonna get inside the hotel and meet somebody else there. Yet we're here at the front entrance of the hotel. Maybe dad waiting for someone. Yeah maybe that was it
"Oh here they are" dad says so I turn to look at the BMW black car that is about to go into our place right now. The car seems so expensive anyway
A man with his late 40's get out the car. It seems like he's with someone but seems to stay in the car
Dad and a man shook hands before they turn a look at me "She must be your daughter. What a beautiful lady" a man complements and smiles at me
I smile back at the man "Thank you sir, so do you" I reply with respect
"Laurie, this is Victor, my business partener, and Victor this is Laurie, my daughter" dad introduces and I could authentically feel that there was something with their gaze at each other. Something that I couldn't explain
"Nice to meet you, beautiful lady" Mr. Victor says and I just smile at him
"Laurie, just get in the car" dad commands pointing the black BMW car
I give him a look with confusion "Dad? I don't get what you want to happen. He didn't mind answering me, he gestures his arm for me to get in the car instead, so I did
Once I got in the car, a familiar voice mumbles my name "Hello Laurie"
Holy shit! No way
I stay my gaze at the window, staring at those people passes by. There's no way my dad does know about this, right? Shit shit shit Did my dad betray me? D*mn him
"So our dad still talking 'bout business huh" he says but I can't still look straight at him
So Mr. Victor was her dad? D*mn no way!
He start the engine and I know he occasionally looking at me "Why don't you look back at me?" Jack asks and so I look at his jaw dropping face. He smirks at me as if I'm the one who cheated on him
"You're a jerk"
The engine has stop for a moment and he chortles "Oh yeah, I know" he whispers through my ears and can't deny that it gives me the shivers
Once he pulls himself from me, he hastily starts to drive again. As fast as the horse. But what the heck? Where will he take me?
"Hey! Stop the car!" I shout but it seems like he didn't hear me so I grip the steering wheel, trying to stop him
"Fvck Laurie!" he shouts and then pushes me away. My head hit the window and it hurts so much "shit! I-i'm so sorry" he apologies once he finally stops the engine. He leans closer to me with his worried look written all over his face. He may feel guilty right now
I cover my face by my palms "I hate you, y-you never stop hurting me" I agonize like a little kiddo. I know it's pitiful what's my look right now but one is sure, I want to get out of this car. I want to get out of his life
He let out a sigh "I'm so sorry" he says once again and was about to give a hug but I push him with all my strength
I glare at him. He thought I'll forgive him that easily but hell, I'm not that stupid "Apologies not accepted" I say, looking away and getting frustrated
He starts to drive again "You're still so stubborn" he says, chuckling. Did he just calls me a stubborn? "why don't you just atleast let out those hatred you're feeling towards me?
"You fvcking asshole!" I shout but he didn't mind. Maybe realisation hits him. That he really was an asshole
