The week went by exceptionally fast. During that time, we went dress shopping and today was the day of the dance. I haven't told anybody this but i've been feeling like someone is watching me and its really creeping me out. But i've been trying to ignore it.
Right now we are at my house getting dressed. Kenzie was wearing a cream colored mid- thigh dress with a pattern on the torso and cream colored heels. Shaundi, being her fashionable self, is wearing a multi-colored sleeve-less dress also mid-thigh with an orange blazer and gold heels. Me being well me, I was wearing a black and grey mid thigh dress the skirt of the dress had sequins on it and black heels.
We never had dates to dances because dudes actually found me and Shaundi intimidating. Kenzie is to shy to date so we always just go together. As always Kenzie was constantly looking in the mirror to make sure she looked ok, even though we've told her a million times she does. Shaundi was fixing her curls. Shaundi put on her sunglasses and got up.
"Are you guys ready?" She asked, walking towards the door.
"Yea but whos driving?" Kenzie asked, pulling at her dress
"Shaundi is of course" I say, standing up aswell
We all piled in Shaundie's car, me in the front, Kenzie in the back. When we arrived at the dance all eyes went to us but mostly to Shaundi as she strutted to an open table. Kenzie as usual followed with her head down. As soon as we sat down a familiar song came on. Me and Kenzie groaned.
"THIS MY JAM!!!" Shaundi shouted as she shot up and started dancing to the NaeNae
As usual everyone's eyes shot to Shaundi in amusement. Next, a slow dance came on and a cute boy walked up and asked Kenzie if she wanted to dance. Kenzie's face turned bright red as she nodded her head and walked off with him. Next a boy even cuter walked up and asked Shaundi to dance but as usual she said no, did i mention she's gay? Well now you know. He gaved me a glance and I shook me head no. I was never one to slow dance.
"I'm gonna get something to drink want some?" Shaundi said, getting up
"Sure" I say.
As she leaves I can feel eyes on me but when i look around I dont see anybody. Then everything went black and quiet. I felt hands on me but I kicked whoever it was.
"Shaundi!!! Kenzie!!!" I yell.
"Over here!!" I hear shaundi yell
I follow her voice and found them, just then the light came back on.
"I'm ready to go" Kenzie says a little frightened.
"Yea me too." Me and Shaundie agree
When we got to a red light I noticed a car behind and thought nothing of it....at first. After making a couple turns I noticed the car was following us.
"Hey am i the only one who notice that car has been following us for a couple blocks now?" I asked
"Yea, that's why I've been circling the same blocks over and over again." Shaundi says slightly irritated
"I'm trying not to pay attention but i've noticed to" Kenzie says frightened
After turning a corner i noticed the car wasn't behind us anymore. When we got to a red light we sat and waited as soon as it turned green we went forward. All you could hear was horns and then everything went black.
