Everything seems like an awful nightmare. Who knew it'd be because of living with a bunch of strangers? Actually, a bunch of people could predict that. I can't believe Austin's dead. I didn't know him all too well, but it's my fault he's dead. I chose for him to die instead of Bonnie. It's all my fault. Again.
Everything's coming back to me. The blood. The memories. The guilt. All of it's coming back. It was 2008. My freshman year. I had a best friend. His name was Daniel. We were inseparable, until I made one mistake. We prank called a kid. The kid was always bullied. We didn't mean for things to happen the way it did. His name was James. He had jet black hair, and a lip ring. He was always called emo, lame, loser, etc. We prank called him. We told him that his girlfriend died. He believed it. He thought she killed herself, which made him kill himself. He hung up, and slit his throat with a kitchen knife. His only friend, other than his girlfriend, found him bleeding out on his bedroom floor.
I don't know who his friend was, but anyways, later that day, I got a text from an unknown number. It said "What would you do if your best friend bled out on his bedroom floor, and you found him there?" I responded "Who is this? What?" At that time, I didn't know what had happened. The unknown number responded with "You'll find out eventually." I didn't know what to do, so I called Daniel. I got no answer. I freaked out. I made my mom drive me to his house. I ran into his house, up the stairs, and into his room, finding him laying there, lifeless, drained of blood, just, dead. And it was all my fault. I know he didn't do this to himself. Someone else did it. But I'm to blame. It's all my fault. It's all my fault.
