In this land of the arid desert
With the parched sun blazing at me
I crave for the soothing winds to caress me
And the insatiable storm to engulf me
I live in the hope, the desire to learn
The Knowledge what is now forbidden for me
Rules are laid and ought to abide by
Dispelling me to a life of crudeness and ignorance
But still,
I await in anticipation
For the reassuring winds
To blow away the layers of dust settled on those books, whose pages would "once upon a time" engulf me
