It hurts more than expected - Original Story [YAOI]

Episode 04

Hoshiki was sitting in a bench, reading a book and feeling the warm weather. It was a wonderful day to take a walk and Hoshiki was with his boyfriend, Kobayashi. It was a date, as a lot of other dates they had. 

''I'm back!'', Hoshiki heard. It was Kobayashi.

''Oh, hi.'', Hoshiki said.

Kobayashi gave one of  the two ice-creams he held to Hoshiki, and he sat next to him to eat. Hoshiki closed his book and started licking the cold ice too.

''Hey, Kobayashi...'', he whispered, ''Are you still working on that bar?''

Kobayashi nodded with a sad look on his eyes. He couldn't lie to Hoshiki, but he really needed that job. It was the only way to save money quickly.

''With that guy... Uhara, right?'', Hoshiki asked. Another nod. ''I don't like it. But I guess it can't be helped. Just make sure he doesn't do weird thinks to you, okay? I haven't heard much good rumors about him lately.''

Kobayashi sighed, feeling down. He hated lying to Hoshiki, but he could never say that Uhara had sex with him each week. He didn't want to hurt Hoshiki. And so, Kobayashi kept lying to him, more and more.

That night, he went to the gay bar, and he saw Uhara wasn't there. Somehow, it was a relief for Kobayashi. He was... afraid of Uhara, even if he didn't want to admit it. He was afraid because Uhara was his friend and he changed too much. The past Uhara wasn't there anymore, now there was just a new, creepy Uhara. 

''Kobayashi?'', someone called him.

Kobayashi turned and saw that boy called Hitoshi behind him. Hitoshi was a calm, quiet and nice guy. He never harmed Kobayashi, nor said nothing about his relationship with Uhara (even if Hitoshi saw them doing lewd things once, he never asked anything about it). 

''Hello, Hitoshi. Uhara is ill?'', Kobayashi doubted.

''I think so. He usually doesn't skip work, so that must be the reason why he is not here.'' 

Hitoshi smiled friendly and he moved his hands nervously, as if he wanted to say something. 

''What's up?'', Kobayashi asked when he noticed that.

''Um... I want to ask you something. In fact, I... I am in love with Uhara.''

Kobayashi was paralyzed. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Hitoshi blushed and looked to Kobayashi gingerly.

''Are you... dating him?'', Hitoshi asked.

''Huh!? No!! No way I would date someone like him!'', Kobayashi shouted, without realizing those words were hurting Hitoshi more than expected, ''Anyway, I don't have that kind of relationship with him. Plus, I'm dating another guy... So, no.''

''I see...'', Hitoshi seemed relieved, ''Then, why were you... having sex with him?''

Kobayashi swallowed nerviously. He was doubting about what to say. It was rather a difficult question, really.

''He... forced me to do it.'', Kobayashi decided to tell the truth, ''I didn't want to. But I can't say anything to the police because of some reasons. So... please, keep this as a secret by now. I don't like Uhara, and I don't think he likes me neither. You can be easy.''

''What? But... why would Uhara do something as bad as that?''

''You see... Uhara isn't a good person at all. You should be careful. I don't want you to be hurt because of him too.''

Hitoshi nodded, confused. He couldn't accept it so easily. He loved Uhara too much, and he hoped Uhara wasn't as bad as Kobayashi said. He could do nothing but pray.
