Patrick woke up 7:00 in the morning even though there is no working day today. He remembered that short but memorable talk he had with Audrey the other night. He is now preparing breakfast for his family. Bella, their family cook, came to the kitchen.

"Ay! Sir Patrick. Bakit po kayo nandito sa kusina? Este, ano po ang ginagawa niyo dito?"

"Bella, ako na muna ang magluluto. Pahinga ka muna."

"Ah, sige po, Sir. Pero kung kailangan niyo po ng tulong, nasa labas lang po ako."

"Sige, Bella. Salamat."

"Sige po, Sir. (while leaving the kitchen — Himala? Bakit parang nasa good mood si Sir ngayon?)"

Audrey was woken up by a knock from her door.

"Anubayan. Ang aga-aga ah? Sino ba 'yan?"

A girl came to her room. "Look who's back from her vacation?"

"Cara? (gets out of her bed) Cara!"

They hug each other so tightly.

"Kailan ka pa bumalik, Cara?"

"Well, last night lang ako bumalik from Singapore. Hindi na ako kumatok sa room mo kasi sabi ni Tita, nagpapahinga ka na."

"Wait. Dito ka natulog? Bakit hindi ko alam?"

"Well, I wanted to surprise you. And here we are, you're surprised!"

Audrey laughs, "Okay, I'll just take a shower, okay? Then bababa na ako for breakfast."

"Hurry! The food smells delicious!"

Patrick puts the last dish in the table and at the same time, his mother and father already sat at the table.

"Wow! Ang sasarap naman ng pagkain. Si Bella ba ang nagluto?"

"No, Ma. Ako po ang nagluto niyan."

"Talaga, son? Himala, nagluto ka ng breakfast para sa atin. Good mood?"

"Well yes, Pa. Let's just say na maganda ang tulog ko kagabi."

They all ate their breakfast. Audrey and Patrick had a wonderful breakfast with their family. The food served are delicious and the "kwentuhan" is happily enjoyed by both of them. After breakfast...

"Ma, Pa, mamaya pa lang lunchtime hindi ako dito kakain."

"Bakit, Patrick?"

"Ah, Ma. I have a meeting with my client kasi. We need to talk about some things."

"On a Saturday, son? Bakit hindi niyo pa gawin on Monday iyan?"

"Well, hindi naman po siya formal na meeting. We're just gonna clarify things. May gusto raw po silang pag-usapan."

"Ah, okay. Sige, anak."

"Thanks, Ma, Pa."

Audrey and Cara went outisde at the veranda and drank coffee there.

"Sooooo, how is my best friend while I was away?"

"Well, okay naman. Everything is doing well in the office."

"Ay nako, Audrey. Puro ka na lang ba trabaho? You're almost in you're 30s. Wala ka pang lovelife ano?"

"*sigh* Naku, Cara. Wala pa sa isip ko iyang lovelife. I'm just 25."
