"Um, I'm sorry. This is Ms. Perez from Time Airways."

Patrick was surprised to hear such a lovely voice. He has never heard that kind of voice before. He was quiet for a second but when he realized he was not replying, he immediately answered.

"Oh, Ms. Perez. I'm sorry for what I said awhile ago. I just had a bad day at work. I'm so sorry."

"No, it's alright. Sorry to bother you at this hour. Am I interrupting your sleep?"

"Oh no, no. I was just lying on my bed. Anyways, how may I help you? (She sounds very professional. The voice is very good ey? A nice CEO I must say — Patrick smiles)

"Buti na lang pala. Anyways, can I meet you? I mean tomorrow? I would like to make things clear regarding Time Airways as a client of your company, LAS. If it's fine with you."

"Oh sure, Ms. Perez. Is this good news or the other way? (She has a cute voice when speaking Tagalog ah?)

"Please, puwede mo akong tawaging Audrey. Masyado ka namang pormal, Mr. Lim. Well, it depends on what will be the outcome of our meeting tomorrow. Is that okay?"

"And you can call me Patrick by the way. Sure thing, we can meet up tomorrow. You set up the time and meeting place."

"(Hindi ko pa siya naririnig magTagalog ah? Ang gwapo naman talaga ng boses) Okay, Patrick. Can we meet by lunchtime at Pat's Cafe'?"

"Ah, sige. Salamat nga pala sa pag-tawag."

"(Ayun! Nagtagalog na rin! Gwapo talaga ng voice) Wala yun, Patrick."

There was a quiet pause. No one started the conversation, again. Both are daydreaming of the voices of each other when...

"Sige, salamat sa time, Patrick. Good night, see you tomorrow."

"Good night, see you."

And they both hung up.

Patrick and Audrey jump to their respective beds, looking at their ceilings. They were reminiscing the small conversation they had.
