After 2 hours of a crying session, Geoff's mum finally leaves. I see her out and say to her, 'If you ever want to see Geoff, just come round or climb through the window.' She nods and goes back to her house.

I close the door and take Geoff's things upstairs to our room. I walk in and Geoff is lying on the floor, staring up at the stars on my ceiling from when I was 5 years old. I place his bags down and stand over him.

I say nothing but Geoff does. 'Don't just stand over me. Lie next to me.' He says.

I giggle and do as I'm told. As I lie down next to Geoff, he places his head on my chest for comfort. I play with his hair and I felt at peace, like everything was finally falling into place. But I know things were only going to get worse between him and his dad. They always do. Whenever something good happens to Geoff, his dad always ruins it.

3 hours pass and Geoff is asleep on my chest. He looks so cute when he's sleeping.

I snapchat a picture of him sleeping 'Glad I get to spend the rest of my life with him *kissing emoji* *love heart emoji* *heart eyes emoji*

I save the picture to my phone. A text from mom appears, 'Hey, we're coming home today. We'll be home in about 4 hours. Love you x'. I jump and accidentally wake Geoff.

'Sorry I woke you up. My parents are coming home today.' I say in shock.

'Its okay Aws. Are they actually? I wanted to spend one more night alone with you.' Geoff replies with a sad look.

'Yeah. They'll be here in 4 hours. I was looking forward to another night alone too but now thats ruined.' I say looking at Geoff.

I text back mom, 'Hey, Why're you coming home? You've still got 3 days in New York.'

I stand up and start cleaning everywhere.
