Chapter One

Me and- oh wait, you're not supposed to know who he is just yet. You'll find out. So we decided to make a letter to our futureselves, more specifically, how we fell in love and some advice. Hold on to your seats because this is gonna be a long ride you won't want to forget.

I should probably start from the beginning. So-

Erena's POV

I am currently at the dining room trying a PB&J sandwich for the first time and I must say, I'm kind of confused. But it tastes good so, meh.

"Why are you still here?" My mom asked me.

"Uuuhhhmm... Don't you want your daughter to be here?"

"No, I mean look at the clock"

Moving on from that, I just realized that the short stick thing on the clock, don't expect me to know what it's called, is pointing towards the 6 and the long stick thing is pointing at the 9.

Uh-oh.

I have to go to shool at 7:00 and it's already 6:45. What a great way to start your first day at a new school, am I right?

I rushed to the bathroom, showered, and got dressed as quickly as possible.

As I was leaving my dad saw me at the door and asked "Hey kiddo, why are you in a rush?"

"Late to school!" I shout as I sprint out the door.

"Wait you forgot your-"

"Bye dad! Tell mom bye for me!"

I wonder what dad was gonna tell me.
Oh well, I'm gonna be late if I don't
hurry. I'm just gonna ask him about it
when I get home. Little did I know, I was gonna find out very very soon.

I was running down the street. Wait, am I forgetting something?

Oh.

Uh-oh.

The car. I FORGOT THE CAR??!!

I inwardly groan. Sometimes, I forget
how stupid I am. Well, I'm booksmart I guess.

Dismissing my thoughts, I ran towards the school and checked my phone to see what time it was, 6:57.

Then I bumped into a guy, great! Just great! Can you feel my sarcasm.

"Can you not walk like a turtle please? "

"Tch," That's all he said before walking away.

Stupid turtle.

I got a little bit lost but it's not that hard to find your school when it's bigger than most of the houses in where you live.

I got there just 5 minutes late. Yes!!!
Why is that an achievement for me?
That's what I get for being late all the time( I'm referring to my last school year)

But I guess it's fine that I'm late. Oh wait, did I forget to mention that I don't have to go to the classes. Or school.

You see, they told me that I could go to college because I was far too "advanced". Pfft. Who would believe that? Them apparently. Anyways, I told them no because who would want to study more? Not me.

I mean it's way easier to just attend classes and relax. They said I could observe the class. If I got bored they said they would just assign me to a task.

So I headed straight to the classroom since they send the students an email of their schedules and a map of the school for the new students.

I knocked on the door then opened it slowly and quietly so as to not attract attention to myself. Maybe I would get away with it?

"So as I was saying-" the professor was explaing something but he was cut short when he saw me.

I smiled nervously.

"Am I late?"
