The week after he was released from the hospital was definitely an eventful one.

Well, eventful is an understatement. Nothing to drastic happened, but the five days away from school didn't help his grades. He had a pile of homework waiting on his desk when he got home.

Also, he had a nurse checking up on him every 4 hours on the week he had off of school to recover. It was a little annoying having to stop writing down his multiple quirk analysis and talk. He had to tell her about what the eye could do, how it felt, and if there were any side effects. The eye could do a lot of things, probably way more than the doctors had realized. It could quickly solve math problems, find spelling errors, grammar mishaps, and it gave Izuku a boosted memory. If he stared at a person on the television, however, it would only give whatever information izuku wanted to know about the Tv and not give information about the person on tv, so he had to do his quirk analysis the old fashioned way.

The side effects were few and far between, with the most prominent ones being a small headache or eye socket pains.

And there was the stunted emotions, but he didn't bring that up with the Nurse.

He started a journal to record this one side effect in secret. He didn't want his eye taken away or to be put on some medicine to fix the problem, so he decided to just try to fix it himself. Well, he used to want to fix it, but after the week was over he decided not feeling anything was kinda nice. He didn't have to worry or stress anymore; even though his happiness was also taken away. He decided it was a fair trade and kept quiet about the whole thing.

Izuku looked up at his school. With the week finally over, he had to go back. At least he didn't have to worry about Bakugou again.

Izuku let his eye process information about the school as he was waiting for it to open.

>Aldera Junior High 折寺中学校

>Students Currently: 158

>Location: Musutafu, Japan.

>Deaths: 23

>Information: Aldrea Junior High is a School that teaches grades 7-9 and falls into the Secondary Education category, while still being a Compulsory Education. It is not the best school out there, as in its 34 years of business there has been 22 suicides and 1 allergen related death. It has a rating of 3.6/5.

Huh. Twenty-two suicides, huh? That's a lot for some run of the mill school.

Izuku brushed this information aside as the gates started to open, and he walked inside. He entered the courtyard, and because he was an hour early, he decided to sit down by a tree and read. He popped open a book about psychology and started to read.

His eye quickly gathered the important information as he skimmed each page. A soft green glow bled onto the pages as he gathered the information from the book. The light was coming from his eye to help him see the words better.

After around 30 minutes of reading and getting halfway through the four-hundred page book, he started to hear walking and whispers as other children arrived. Looking up from his book, he noticed multiple children casting uneasy glances at him as they passed. One of them whispered something about his scar. Another one whispered about his unusual eye.

He felt nothing toward the and went back to reading for another 20 minutes, until a couple of Bakugou's ex-lackeys threw the book from his hands.

"Hmm? What do you want?" Izuku said, looking up at them with an annoyed expression. If any of them noticed Izuku's new demeanor, they ignored it.
