Power + Description: Aric has Peak Human Intelligence, and as the third Fury he also has the abilities of Mental Torture and Night Vision, as well as a pair of demon wings.
Weapons Used: Aric is a skilled marksman, so his weapon of choice is a rifle. He is not nearly as skilled in hand-to-hand combat, so he always carries a knife and a small pistol with him in case of a fight.
Strengths: Marksmanship, Intelligence, Self-Confidence, and Comfort with Computers.
Weaknesses: Hand-To-Hand Combat, Pride, a Volatile Temper, Rudeness, a Seafood Allergy, and Extreme Reluctance to Work with Others.
How they found out about the murders: Aric was walking to his apartment after a late night at his internship when he stumbled across a dead woman in an alleyway. After the first sighting, he began to see more and more of the corpses, and his powers began to manifest in full. His wings nearly doubled in size, making them feasibly usable, and his other powers appeared.
Personality: Aric has a superiority complex. His great height enables him to literally and figuratively look down on his peers. He is extremely blunt, sarcastic, arrogant, stubborn, and bad tempered. Aric is a perfectionist, and prefers to work alone because he considers others to be incapable of meeting his standards. Due to his somewhat antisocial tendencies, he loves working with computers. He is also a decent shot with a rifle, thanks to his father, who believed that knowing how to shoot was extremely important. He is also extremely intelligent, and was the top student at his school. He is very conscientious, and cares about his appearance quite a bit. Aric is also extremely ambitious, and is determined to rise to the top as quickly as possible. The kind of person to not discriminate and hate everyone.
Backstory: Aric grew up in a strict environment, where a great deal of pressure was placed upon him to succeed. After his older sister ran away to become a professional photographer when Aric was twelve, his parents stopped placing as much pressure on Aric. Despite his parents' more relaxed attitudes, Aric continued to push himself to be the best, shutting out the few friends he had in the process. Aric always had a tight bond with his father, who did his best to give Aric some normal childhood experiences, and who taught him how to shoot a rifle.
Aric graduated from high school as the valedictorian, and studied computer science in college. Immediately after he graduated (with honors), he returned for his masters, the degree that he is currently working on. To help pay for his masters, he is currently working in a paid internship at a technology company. He is unaware of his status as the third Fury, but he is all too aware of his wings. His abilities first manifested themselves when he was twelve, shortly after his sister ran away. The emotional distress he experienced kickstarted the growth of his wings, which he did his best to hide throughout his teen years. His other abilities did not appear until much later, after he saw the first body.
