"Hurray! Hurray for Queen Della and the newborn princes!" Chanted the entire country as they gathered inside the church.
Before them, were three young ducklings but, they were no ordinary ducklings. They were the prince's of Duckburg.
Donald Duck, the brother of the queen, beamed with pride, held Prince Hubert in his arms. He cooed at him, making him giggle in delight and he laughed as well. Knowing baby's laughter are very contagious.
Queen Della, held Prince Dewford in her arms, trying to make him stay still for a little.
"Please my little explorer," Della cooed, "Stay still for a little."
But the baby just giggled and tried to aim for his mother's hair, trying to pull it. Della just laughed as she lowered her head, and let Dewey tug on it.
Scrooge chuckled, seeing Della and Dewey "play" together as he held Prince Llewellyn or Louie. Like what any other baby would do, he slept deeply, not knowing at all that he was a prince.
"C'mon lad. Wake up. Ye got visitors to see ya. Meanin the entire kingdom." Scrooge said softly.
All Louie did was toss in his sleep and yawned as one eye opened. He closed it again. Scrooge chuckled at the duckling who was born to make the world sleep.
The bell chimed as Della, Donald, and Scrooge walked to the church. News reporters and photographers came to see and write about the young ducklings.
"Mr. McDuck, how do you feel about your grandnephews?" one reporter asked but the three went one.
"Your grace, any comments on your new nephews?"
"What are their names? And my are the adorable!"
The three made eye contact as they rushed up more steps as they finally made it to the top of the cathedral.
A pope, old, around his late sixties, dressed in white and gold bowed.
"Your majesty. Your graces. It is an honor to meet you and the new princes." he said as he went to peek in a small look at Huey.
"Not at all," said Della. "After all this is the church when you baptized Donald and I."
The pope smiled as he looked at the twins and went to the triplets.
"Well it is now or never. We better get them inside before more the media gets here." Donald said.
They made to the inside where more media were inside, taking news coverage on the baptism on the princes.
As the mass service began, the pope began taking one by one of the princes. He took Huey out of Donald's hands. He placed Huey near a bit of holy water and ran it down his forehead.
"I pronounce Hubert, eldest child of Queen Della, and heir to the throne, Prince Hubert of Duckburg."
He handed Huey back to Donald. He took Dewey out of Della's hands. Dewey tried to squirm around and trying to see his brothers but as the cool water ran down, he sneezed and wailed.
"I pronounce Dewford, middle child of Queen Della and second heir to the throne, Prince Dewford of Duckburg."
He placed Dewey back into Della's arms where she soothed Dewey into sleep mode. He picked up Louie, all sleepy and quiet but as the water ran down, like his brother, he began to wail as well. The pope cradled him but it wouldn't work. He put his hand over his head and it seemed to do the trick but his head seemed warm.
"I pronounce Llewellyn, youngest child of Queen Della, and third in line for the throne, Prince Llewellyn of Duckburg."
He handed Louie to Scrooge as the entire chapel clapped and cheered to the princes.
