I look around trying to see something, but I can't see anything. There's just darkness. The cave seems never-ending, but I know we're in a quite small area. ¡What a weird spot for a first date!

"Hey! Are you still listening?" She asks, pulling me back to reality. I smile at her, and apologize for not paying attention. She says it doesn't matter, and we should just keep eating. Her deep emerald eyes sparkle against the candle's flame; and her black hair is lost in the caves dark walls. God, she's so gorgeous!

She keeps on talking, telling me about — I think— a house she just sold;  however, I don't pay much attention as I play with the vegetables in my plate. Once in a while I  smile and nod to at least that I am interested in every one of her words.

"Why don't you tell me more about you?" She giggles and I smile.

"You're far more interesting" I reply. She smiles again. We spend the evening like this: laughing and enjoying each other's company.

As we finish, she asks to take a walk in the cave . Out of courtesy, I agree to do so. She takes the candelabra and starts walking around, trying to find a path to follow. She takes my hand a leads me through a passageway. Since it's so dark, I can't tell where are we going.

With each step we take, I can feel the air getting heavier and hotter. I take in slow breaths, hoping I don't drown in sweat. She, however, looks ecstatic. She's grinning, that pearly grin of hers, as she quickly walks in front of me. Her steps are far too long and fast for me to keep up with. The candelabra is steady on her hands, the flames barely even flickering. It's almost as if she's done this a million times before.

She speeds up her pace every couple meters, as if she was eager to find something. I can barely keep up, but I don't complain. I fear if I do, she'll think I'm a weakling and leave me. After all, she wanted "a strong woman, cause I love dangerous adventures ".

After what feels like hours of walking, I finally give out. I lean into one of the walls of the completely out of breath. It is absolutely covered in some sort of sticky substance, I just hope it isn't bat shit. However, I can't see anything anymore because my date did not realize that I stopped walking and she left me here, in absolute darkness. I take a couple deep breaths, until a strong scent hits me. It's almost metallic and it feels as if I was coated in it. The scent invades my nostrils and I start coughing.

I hear my date call out my name. The sound gets closer with every passing second and soon I can see what's around me because of the bright burning flames of the candelabra. I look around me, and I'm suddenly horrified. The cave's walls are coated in deep crimson blood, and so am I. From behind me, I hear a low sigh and a giggle. I hear a whooping sound, and then there's a cracking sound against my skull. I'm pulled into darkness.

I'm awoken to the clicking sound of my date's heels. We're in some sort of strange cavern-dungeon. I stare wide-eyed at the gleaming candelabra that line the wall. I can hear an unmistakeable sound, from not so far away: metal against metal, a knife being sharpened. She tugs my hair, pulling my head up to face her. Her voice is now deeper and it sounds like more of a growl. "Goodnight babe" she whispers. As soon as she finishes that phrase, a searing pain spreads out from my neck. My breath is sucked out of my lungs, as a thick, sticky substance starts to pool on my back.
