I woke to a start. The nightmare was terrible. I had dreamt about an eagle. I was the eagle soaring above the clouds as I searched for prey. While enjoying the view, I didn't notice a dark embodiment had started to consume me. When I turned around I saw it. And then I had awoken.
I had never had a much worse nightmare in my life. Considering I was 14, I never had many dreams at my age at all. My name is Haley. I go to Ridge-wood junior high. My community is filled with a bunch of idiots, but my friend Maddie isn't.
If only I could fly away to an unknown paradise, far away, and alone. Were I could have some peace and think about life for awhile.
