Somewhere only we know- Logicality

Author's Note

So the story is like a Human AU and it takes place where they both are kids but there is a scene where they are young adults/teens. Also the song where I got the idea is above! Spotify you are life saver! 

Patton's POV

  I was walking through the forest not really looking for any thing but an escape into beauty.

  I jumped on top of a fallen log and walk across it, I stopped half way to take a minute to really admire the beauty around me.

  It was autumn and the leaves turned to warm hues and began to fall to the forest floor. The forest held a new warm and fuzzy feeling, it was a feeling that made me feel surrounded by people with love and support. It wasn't irritating, not too warm or cold it- was perfect.

  I continued on and when I reached the end and I jumped off, slipping, and ended up tumbling down hill.

  I clumsily slid into what I thought was a rock covered in vines and moss it but was actually a tunnel. I flashed down at lightning speed and in about a second I landed outside in this hidden area. It had dirt walls with moss and vines that went up and over to form shelter. There were tree roots on the top that looked like it was holding the roof together. With a whole in the middle that allowed sun light to flood into the area and create a spot light on me and some of the water in the river that went through the beautiful space. The floor of grass and flowers providing a cushion for me when I landed.

  The sight was stunning to say the least. The faint sound of birds chirping next to a calm river was ruined by the sound of a body falling.

  I turned around to see a young boy around my age who had on a now dirty grey shirt with a navy blue tie that in the tumble got torn and ripped from the boy by a rock. We made eye contact for a split second, horror showing in our as the boy came to a crashing stop into me.

  Not really prepared for the impact I flew back into river of water. Mine and the boy's glasses flying into the air and landing on a safe spot on the grass.

My body sank into the water before I pushed myself up and swam to the surface. Then I haled myself out of the river. I looked up trying to find the boy who had crashed into me but he was less detailed and more smeared then I remembered him.

  I got up to retrieve both our glasses, I stumbled over to four black smears sticking out of weird looking grass and shoved what I thought were mine on. 

I blink my eyes once or twice to adjust to the new vivid, and detailed world. Crawling over to the shocked boy I hand him his black and blue glasses.

  He happily took them and put them on. He looks up to me still stunned from the events. He starred at me for a couple seconds and I starred back. His little confused face made me suppress a giggle. He seemed to be thinking about something until he slowly shook his head, trying to get his mind back to the events.

  " suh- suh- sor-" he stops himself as he hears that he is stuttering. He clears his throat as his cheeks turn a red shade. "Sorry, I was walking outside while reading- the book was too marvelous to simply put down, it's about this scientist who- ah never mind that. I fell when I was reading" he said very fast, it was hard to keep up with him.

  "It's okay!! I'm Patton!" I said shoving my hand towards the mystery child, awaiting to feel him put his hand in mine, and waiting to hear the smart boy's name.

  "It's Logan Lo" Logan said softly as he reached for my hand.

I smiled brightly as we shook hands.
