Sachiko sprawled out on her bed, it was a nice feeling after a long day of training. She grabbed a fluffy pillow and hugged it close to her chest.

'Finally... I have enough time tonight to relax...'

That was what she thought until a knock on her apartment door ruined that moment.

"Chi! Can I come in?"

Well nevermind, it was May at her door. Sachiko sprung up off of her fluffy blankets and pillows and ran over to the door. When she opened it, she was greeted by the familiar fashion style that was a mix of goth and punk. It clashes a lot with the bright colour scheme of Sachiko's apartment. "

Oh, hey May. Sure, make yourself at home!"

Sachiko stepped out of the way and as soon as the fellow competitor stepped in, May flopped down face first onto the bed.

"Do you need to talk about anything? You never come to my apartment unless something's up."

Sachiko lied down beside her and gave her a reassuring look.

"What did you think of me when we first met?" As May sat up, their eyes met. Sachiko looked away up at the ceiling and smiled.

"Do you want the honest answer or the nice answer?"

May slightly grinned.

"Well that's reassuring."

"Sorry, sorry!"

"The honest answer, please."

Sachiko moved so that May could lay in her lap.

"Okay then. So, I think I was around 8 years old, you were around 10. We attended a dancing workshop together while you were staying in Japan with your family. And let me just say, I thought you were quite strange at first. You looked more..."

May started twirling Sachiko's hair between her fingers, awaiting her continuation.

"Masculine.. then most of the girls there. I actually thought you were a guy until they mentioned your name in roll call."

May started chuckling at that point, and then she started to respond.

"Yeah, I remember back then. I was going through my serious emo phase. Soooo much eyeliner."

 Sachiko broke out into laughter.

"You had the full-on raccoon eyes going on. Some of the girls were actually scared of you."

Her laughter started to calm down after a minute.

"Anyways, so when we had to do our solo freestyle classes, I poked my head through the window of your class. Let's just say from what I could see, what you thought was dancing, actually looked like a chicken flapping it's wings rapidly trying to get away from my three-year-old brother."

May had lost it, she broke into a fit of laughter.

"I can just imagine ten-year-old me in a chicken suit doing the chicken dance while running away from your brother now."
