  "Silas-"

The two men were in Silas' room, it was dark, there was stuff all over the floor, tissues and empty food packets scattered around his bed. Silas was curled up in his bed, his head in his palms. Jace extended his hand out to softly caress the other male's cheek.

"WHAT?"

Silas slapped Jace's hand away, but Jace quickly held Silas' hand while he had the chance. He looked up to see Jace sitting in front of him, barely able to make out what he looks like because of the dim lighting.

"I'm getting seriously worried about you, you haven't left your room for 3 days..."

Jace squeezed Silas' hand, his touch brought warmth to Silas' cold hand. Silas tore his hand away.

"Stop it! I-I don't deserve your love Jace."

Silas was crying heavily, tears streaming down his face.

"I don't understand this! I-I don't know what I am feeling anymore! I-I just-"

 "Silas!"

Jace raised his voice, he was struggling to keep calm.

"You need to stop pushing everyone away! I have been so worried about you the past few days, you haven't been yourself!"

Jace grabbed his hand back. Silas intertwined his fingers with Jace's.

"I-I just don't want to hurt you! Everyone I have gotten close to in my life has betrayed my trust an- and I'm just being selfish! I- I love you Jace.. so fucking much that it hurts. I just- I-"

Silas got cut off by the warmth that suddenly filled him. Jace pulled him into a tight embrace, and Silas starts crying even more into his shoulder.

"You'll end up hurting me if you say any more of that sentence. Please stop crying, I'm gonna start crying as well.."

Jace ran his fingers through Silas' hair, untangling knots every few seconds.

"I love you, Silas"
