~Chapter Five~ Killing Those You Love

~Kalkari's P.O.V~

I smile warmly at Night as we finish up sucker for pain just before class started, quickly cleaning up the instruments. I felt that feeling again, it was weird but strangely calm and nice to feel. We make to the classroom, the classes dragged along annoyingly slow as finally the end of the day rolls around and I grab my stuff hurrying to Night before she left. "Sorry Night, something came up. Would next weekend work?" I question and receive a fast answer "Yeah that would work. Say Friday at 10?" 

I nod and hurry off sensing someone tail me as I quickly pull my blade in time to block my attacker as she purrs "I was never able to sneak up on you in Heaven when we were younger either." She states with a cute smile. We clashed blades with a fierce intensity, though I was winning the battle, striking her down after hearing her question and answer. "Who do you have a pact with?" I smile as I answer the question as her body knocks me over. "The Arachnid queen." She lets out a cute giggle as unknown to me her blood dripped into a vial that I had on me. "I am proud of you." 

she says as he uses the last of her strength to kiss me before her body stills. My mind shattered at the death of my friend. Causing me to hide my feelings as well as causing me to withdraw from the world. She found me crying in the music room, the only difference was my tears were blood.
