We got in the Car and Cam is being abnormally sweet. He offered me champagne on the way to the restaurant as he says its quite a long drive. We talked about different thing on the way.
"So how are you and Raffy?" He asked
"We're great" I said trying my best to smile
"With the look on your face it doesn't seem great" He said with a smirk on his face
Damn he knew what was wrong. I'm normally so good at hiding my feeling but maybe not this time. I wanted to tell Cam everything, how I felt, how I was doubting my relationship with Raffy but I barely knew him. At this point, I was vulnerable, I was away from home, from my friends and I feel like I might just burst.
"I don't know actually, things seem to be fine but then last night he said I love you and- omg why am I telling you this I literally just met you a few days ago"
"Hey, it's fine, I get you. You didn't know if you did too?"
"Exactly! Like I felt like it was too soon" I said
"Well guys don't normally say it if they don't mean it" He said. He was right.
"That's true" I said as I took a sip of champagne when my phone started ringing so I excused myself from Cameron
Incoming Call: Raffy <3
"Hello?"
"Hey how's your date" Raffy said jokingly
"I'm not on a date, Raffy."
"I know I'm just kidding. Where are you?"
"I don't know actually, we're on the way to the restaurant"
"Okay let me know when you get back to the hotel okay? and when you're about to sleep" He said
"okay" I said
"Bye! I love you"
"You too" I said as I put down the phone. I couldn't say the full phrase, I can't say it if I don't mean it.
"Was that Raffy?" Cam asked
"Yeah, just checking on me" I said, trying my best to keep a smile on my face
"So anyways, what are you here in LA for?"
"Work, this is one of my only free days" I said with a sigh
"Are you also shooting the Armani campaign? Cuz my manager said -"
"Yeah! On thursday?"
"Yeah!" He said and we both laughed
"What a coincidence" I said
"Well, its about time I did shoots with another girl" He said
"What do you mean?" I asked
"When my ex and I were together, all I did were shoots with her, even when we broke up and it was so hard to understand her during shoots. Basically, she was not easy to shoot with"
"Oh, that's sad. I'm sorry"
"Don't be, at least it's over now" He says and he smiled
We got out of the car and went in the restaurant. It was a fancy Chinese restaurant and Cam ordered stuff we could just share.
"So... tell me about yourself" He said
"Well I grew up in Hong Kong so I can speak Chinese. I played volleyball in High School and in University. I love Fashion so I blog too!"
"Wow that's a lot. How old are you, if I may ask?"
"21. You?" I said
"23 but I'm turning 24 soon"
"On september right?" I said
"How do you know" He asked
Oh no, now he's going to know I'm a fan. Shit
"Just guessed" I said and giggled.
"What about you?" I asked to change the subject
"Well I'm working on some campaigns for different brands right now and we just finished shooting the second season of my netflix series"
"That's so cool! How do you even get your own netflix series?" I asked
"Well they just approached me so I have no idea, to be honest" He said
"That's great" I said and smiled
"Is it okay if I ask, how did you meet Raffy?"
"We were neighbors and then he joined the basketball team and I joined the volleyball team and it's a huge thing even outside our school so we had a lot of events and got to spend time with each other. He had a girlfriend that time though"
"Oh but he broke up with her to date you?" He asked
"I guess so" I said and he just nodded like he had his doubts
We were done eating so Cam asked the waiter for the bill.
"How much do I owe you?" I ask
"It's on me" He says
"No, really!! Don't do this"
"Next time we go out, you pay, okay?" He said
"Finee" I said still whining about why he paid
"You know, you're a really great girl, Kat"
"Thanks"
"Raffy's a really lucky guy, I mean if I had a chance I would ask you out, and I should have in the plane" He said
"Sorry that was weird, I'll drop you back" He said as he opened the car door and I was just silent.
"You know I've been a fan of yours since your vine days" I said
"Really? Is that why you knew my birthday?" He asked with a smirk
"Yeah... I just didn't want to act all creepy" I said as I giggled
"And I'm not a crazy fan! Like I just follow your social media accounts, like your posts, support your campaigns but that's it! to be honest I don't even know what your fan base is called" I said as I made a gesture with both hands as I shrugged my shoulders, like the emoji
"Do you want a picture?" He asked
"Uh we have the campaign Cam, I think that was enough?" I replied
"No like I'm Cameron Dallas and you're the fan picture"
"Uh okay?" I said as he opened the lights of the limo, grabbed my phone and took a picture while kissing my cheek
"You do know I have a boyfriend right" I said after the picture
"Yeah but its just the cheek, unless you want-"
"Nope nope" I said with a huge smile on my face.
"Thanks for tonight" I said as we stopped by the driveway of my hotel. I opened the door, left and closed it. Cam pulled down the window and said
"I'll call you" and winked.
I went back up to my room and called Raffy to tell him I was back in the hotel
