CHAPTER SIX
"Appa.." The word slipped out of my mouth. "Why are these people here?" My eyebrows stitched together in curiosity.
There were cameras placed in the compact living room. My father was seated with an interviewer on the tarnished sofa. My eyebrow eventually perked up.
"There she is!" Father stood up and forced me to sit down next to the man.
"Appa-" I was cut off when he left the room. "Have a good interview!"
I swallowed the lump in my throat and glanced on my left to see the man grinning. He pushed the mic to my face
"Tell me how you got in Hakuk High?"
Well, There we go again...

"Thank you for the interview." I slammed the door shut and whipped around. Heaving a sigh, I trudged towards my room. All he did was listen to my story and left.
I went to the kitchen to find kimchi fried rice made placed on the table. My father was washing the dishes. Delicious aroma filled my senses as I sat down and grabbed chopsticks and a spoon.
"Thank you Appa!" I yelled in happiness and devoured the food like a savage. Father looked back at me and shot me a smile.

I entered my miniature room and slumped down on the bed. I gazed at the white-painted ceiling blankly. Slowly my eyes felt droopy and I drifted to sleep.
"Oh mother! You are so beautiful!" I hugged my mother as she looked down at me in joy. "Im so proud of you Haneul." She smiled. Oh she was ethereal . "You're so much beautiful now Haneul." She ran her hand through my hair. "Dont let boys mess with you."
"Haneul! Wake up!" I heard someone yell. I shifted in my bed in irritation. Then I slept Again.
"Haneul!" The voice edged nearer and nearer. "Wake up, Its getting late!"
Then my covers went flying and me falling onto the ground with a thud. I rubbed my eyes and glanced up to meet eyes with my father.
"Hakuk High Time!" He hopped around and hung my uniform on the stand.
"I washed it, dried it and ironed it just for you." He smiled. "You better be thankful because you may never find a Father like this!" He roared with laughter and left the room, closing the door.
I scratched my head and played it off with a genuine smile.
Oh father

Slipping into the affluent uniform made me feel high class again. This feeling made me proud. But I wont let it get to my head. I dont wanna turn into those self absorbed heartthrobs.
I was about to put on my glasses until all the conversations from yesterday came flooding into my head. My hands' grip tightened on the glasses really tight that I didn't even realize I broke them.
"No!" I gasped and tried putting the shattered glass into place. I pouted and slumped down in agony.
"Now I have to go to school like this.."
Throwing the glasses into the bin, I quickly ate cereal.
"Im leaving!" I yelled to father and hopped out. Mrs Min was watering tiny plants next to her door. She waved at me and I waved back.
"Another day at Hakuk High.." I murmured to myself and walked up the street. "I wonder how itll go.."
I skipped my way to school until a black shiny limousine was parked right next to me. Its black tinted window rolled down as I peered at the person.
A girl of my age. Her hazel eyes shone in curiosity. Her hair were jet black and dead straight. She was quite pretty.
She had a expression of disgust plastered on her lips as he eyed me from head to toes. Then rolling her eyes, she rolled the window back up.
I heaved a sigh. So much of having a first impression.

Hakuk High. A prestigious school made specifically for the rich and wealthy; No commoner can be seen here as they cannot afford it. Luckily I got in.
I walked into the school. Many eyes scanned me again making me nervous. Still no sight of Chaeyoung.
I roamed around the vast hallways. My eyes landing on each majestic paintings hung in the corridors.
Until I passed a half opened door, my ears perking up as I heard the noises again. My eyes eventually gazed up at the sign. Oh shit. Its the same old room as last time. My feet eventually brought me here.
A hard lump formed in my throat and I gulped it down anxiously. I should go.
Before I even knew it. The door burst open; causing me to fall on my butt with a thud. I squeezed my eyes shut embracing the pain that came with it.
"Ouchhh" I rubbed my butt in agony.
"Oi." The voice before me startled me.
I glanced up slowly. There they stood again. BTS.
"I-um.." I scratched my head nervously. "I was-"
"You were eavesdropping?"Jin asked with wide eyes. "Did you hear everything we talked about?"
"N-no!"
"Yes you did. Stand up." Taehyung ordered me and I stood up. Some of the guys let out gasps as they saw me without glasses.
"Your glasses?" Namjoon batted his eyelashes in disbelief.
"Oh I broke them." I played with my shoes. Nothing-less I couldnt afford a new one at the moment.
"So can you see?" Hoseok raised his eyebrows.
"Yes I can. Those were just my fake-glasses you could say.." I sheepishly looked down.
"Oh." Taehyung stared at me for god knows how long. "We were discussing something actually."
My eyes locked with his glinting brown eyes. They shone in mischievousness. His thick eyebrows furrowed.
"What?" I batted my eyelashes in confusion.
"We'll tell you after school at tea room. Meet us at OUR table." Taehyung put his hands in his pockets, a smirk played at his lips as he went pass me. His refreshing orange-blossom cologne pleasured my senses.
"See you Haneul.." Jimin patted my head and followed after everyone. I wonder what is it this time?
