28. Last day

CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

Last day at this Island saddened me, I was finally enjoying myself. I was resting on the seats next to the window. Taeran was rummaging in her suitcase. ''What are you looking for?'' I tilted my head, staring at Taeran who dug in deeper. ''Oh, ....    it was somewhere here....''. I raised an eyebrow in curiousity, ''What was there?'' She froze, her head turned to me; as she stared deeply. ''I forgot!!''

''What!?'' I jerked up, my heart pacing. ''I forgot my necklace at home.'' She slumped back, her back falling against the bed. My shoulders drooped, ''is that it?'' She heaved a sigh. ''You wont get it..'' She pressed her lips into a thin line. I felt sad for her, Walking over, I bent down. Tucking a piece of hair behind her ears, I tilted my head so I could see her face. She was really beautiful. Her teary eyes met mine. ''It was a gift from Appa, I cant believe I forgot it, I take it everywhere.'' She put her head against me.

''There there. Its safe at home.'' I searched for words to comfort her. ''Today is a big day, A huge dinner party, I mean, dont you want to...impress Jimin?''

Her lips etched into a smile as she punched me. ''I do not like him, he has feelings for you. Its so clear.'' I threw my head back in surprise. ''Jimin..? likes me?''  She nodded and jerked up. ''So you better look good tonight missy.'' She walked over to the bathroom, throwing her back, she threw me a wink. I batted my eyelashes confusedly as the door closed.

Jimin....?

The afternoon was spent in preparing for the dinner. The sun dipped in the horizon, its orange hued rays striking through our windows illuminating the room with its glow.

''You look so gorgeous!!'' Taeran gasped as she saw me in the dress. My back was facing her. ''Taeran you cant even see me, Can you zip up my back?'' She walked over to me, zipping up my crimson dress. She whispered, ''time for you to put on makeup.'' I whipped around, she looked stunning, my jaw dropped. She wore a Inky black dress topped off with gold earrings. Fish net tights covered her legs and she ended it with black pumps. I put a hand over my chest as she blushed. ''sit down here.'' She gestured me.

Her hand painted my lips red. I stared at myself in the mirror, My hair were open and falling down, My eyes were lined with balck eyeliner, topped off with mascara. She lended me pearl earrings, I put them on.

''You are so beautiful, Haneul!'' Taeran hugged me, I hugged her back before she popped some rose scented perfume on us both. ''Lets get going?'' I asked; slipping my feet into red pumps and she nodded. The dinner was at 8pm and the sun had already sinken. Me and Taeran walked towards the fancy restuarant on this Island.

''who knew thered be a restaurant here?'' I asked Taeran who snapped photos of herself. ''mine has a whole water park.'' She spared me a glance, I sweatdropped as she laughed.

KIM TAEHYUNG POV

''Yeah make sure food is served in the best quality.'' I fixed my bow tie as The manager nodded. I was already here. This roofless restaurant, My head eventually looked up at the stars, their glow radiated. I smiled as I eyed my six brothers entering the restaurant. ''Today is special.'' Namjoon coughed in his clenched hand. His hair was slicked back. ''Sure is.'' I smirked, eyeing them all. Everyone had slipped into black suits, a red bowtie at our necks.

''Dont miss out this.'' Jin pulled out roses, slipping each rose in our pockets.''Is everything prepared?'' Hoseok looked around. ''This restaurant is marvellous.'' Jimin put his hands in his pockets. I nodded in response.
