Gracie POV

I run out to the cold rain. I hid behind one of the bushes in the front and cry. Every time is heard thunder I would cry harder. "I want you Mum and Dad. You said you would always be with me!!!!! Where are you now!!!!" I cry harder and feel something on my shoulder. Mum? Dad? "Oh Grace. Come here my sweet baby girl," Mum says. I crawl towards her and I can feel her. "Mum? I saw you die. How are you and Dad here?" I ask. "The Moon Goddess let us come here for a little while and visit the pack. She doesn't like it when a child she's blessed is sad so she tries making them happy," Dad explained. I send a prayer of thanks towards her and I see the clouds dissipating. "Come dear. Let's visit the pack," Dad says. I get up and dust my jeans. I make my way towards the door. I hold my parents hands and we walk in. Everyone and I mean everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me and my parents, awestruck and happiness radiating. Ric and Jam run down the stairs and stop in front of us. "Richard, James!! How has the pack been?" Dad asks. Ric and Jam went and tackled Dad. I smile brightly and they get back up. "Everything is going okay. Dinner is still as festive and everyone's been doing great. There is a matter that I have to speak to you about," Ric says. Mum goes and hugs Ric and Jam as Dad kisses my forehead. The three leave to the office as the pack says there greetings. "Now. Where is Sherilee?" Mum asks. "Annabell?!?!" Sherilee yells. They hug each other, tears brimming Sherilee's eyes. Ryder, Carter, Daniel walk downstairs. Mum immediately tackles Ryder down and growls. "What are you doing here?" Mum growls out. "Mum it's okay. He's a visiting alpha!" I yell out. Mum jumps off and says, "I'm so sorry. I haven't been checking on Grace so I didn't really know about you." Mum explains. "It's okay. Wait. I thought you were dead?" Ryder says. Dad comes in and stands next to Mum and me. "We are. Moon Goddess saw how....uncomfortable Grace is and she doesn't like it when people she's blessed are sad..er uncomfortable," Dad says. Ryder nods and comes over and hugs me. Dad growls and Mum shrieks 'Ryder's her mate.' Realization dawns on Dad's face. "Yeah," I scratch the back of my neck, "he is." I admit. "HE'S THE ONE THAT REJECTED YOU IN THE BEGINNING?!?!!" Dad roars. I rush to hold back Dad before he punches Ryder's face in. "Dad. Ugh. C'mon. Calm down. We made up now. Please daddy?" I put on my puppy dog eyes which is pretty much Sam's eyes, hehehe. Dad calms down and hugs me tight. "I apologize Ryder. It's a father thing," he smiles sheepishly.

A little while later I ask one of the pack members to take a picture of me, Mum, and Dad. It was a beautiful picture with me standing, Mum on my right with her holding my shoulder, and Dad on my left with his arm draped across me and Mum's shoulders. I said thanks and hung out with Mum and Dad. We played board games and cooked some snacks. As we were sitting down Mu and Dad looked up. I looked up also but saw nothing. Mum smiled sadly at me and Dad came towards me. "It's time for you to go isn't it?" I say sadly. "Yes Grace. It'll be okay. Well always be watching now....Except when you and Ryder do the dirty," Mum says winking. I blush crimson red and Mum and Dad laugh. We hug and Dad says, "We will always be watching except the dirty parts. Stay sharp. Stay strong. Stay Gracie," Dad says as he and Mum slowly evaporate. I hug them until I couldn't feel them anymore. Stay sharp. Stay strong. Stay Gracie. Those words reappeared in my head as I headed towards the kitchen.
