Come one, come all, to the XenoBiology Challenge! Anyone can join! :D In this story you (the reader) can create and have your very own characters included in the story, and decide what they do at the end of every chapter. The goal of this story is for your characters to reach the end (survive), depending on what you do (and the evil of the writer) will determine whether they survive.

The story will run for (roughly) 15 chapters, if all the characters should somehow die before then (such as someone causing an unfortunate airlock accident), the story will end there.

To have your character included, just copy one of the template(s) below and post it in the comments. You can only be ONE character throughout the story (its going to be short, so if you want to try different characters, you shouldn't have to wait too long to try again). Sign Ups for the story will go from July 7th to July 14th.

You can choose how you want your characters to die with the "Death" category, though I have the final say. All the same, be careful what you do, putting a gun to your face and pulling the trigger may have unintended consequences. If you don't choose a death, then I choose for you (oh the fun >:3).

There are 3 Types of characters to choose from, Human, Synthetic, or a Xenomorph. Xenomorph's have a few limitations however:

1. They won't appear until a few chapters in, when the other human characters reach their destination

2. Xenomorph's cannot speak or be written from their perspective, their intentions are described through their actions and body language.

Example Human Character Template

Age: 20-something..ish..maybe

Appearance: Caucasian, brown hair, blue eye's, full beard, 5'4 in height, muscular build. Wears jeans & t-shit that says "My Airlock is an exit, not an entrance."

Personality: Insecure, aggressive, moronic.

Occupation: Space-Janitor

Background: Deathly allergic to peanuts, terrified of coffee (don't ask), spent most of his childhood in low rent appartments in 3rd world countries before finally applying for college as a Biologist. Was approached by Weyland Yutani for a Xenobiology position with good pay (who could say no?).

Death: By Chuck Norris.

Appearance: Caucasian, Black Hair, Blue Eye's, 5'9 in height, average build. Wears blue workmans overalls.

Personality: Pessimistic, sarcastic, psychopath.

Occupation: Pilot

Background: Originally assigned on the crew of the Ballista mining vessel, was recovered and reassigned to the Xenobiology expedition after the Ballista's crew was found mysteriously asphyxiated with their own entrails.

Death: By Can Opener.
