Marshwillow touched noses with Frogwhisker. She purred as she headed back into camp with him. The sun was shining more brightly than ever.

"Marshwillow, I'm so glad that Cherryfeather isn't telling me to do things anymore," he meowed.

"I am too, Frogwhisker, but we must remember she is my sister, she is trying to protect me, but... I understand how you feel," she meowed.

"Yeah, I guess," he replied.

"Brightflower, Marshwillow, Frogwhisker and Featherpaw." Ripplefang padded over to the two mates. "Hunting patrol, and I expect alot of prey from you Marshwillow," he meowed and padded off.

"Yes, of course, Ripplefang." she murmured.

"You're the best hunter in the clan! You know that, right?" Frogwhisker meowed, slightly shouting.

"Cats think of it in that way, Frogwhisker, but as long as I'm with you on a patrol, I bet I will be." she responded playfully, pouncing on Frogwhisker.

"Hey! Stop." he flushed.

"What?" Marshwillow replied. They stared at each other for a minute.

"My pad is bleeding." he meowed finally.

"Okay, I'll come with you to the medicine cat den." Marshwillow purred.

Frogwhisker rolled his eyes. "Do you need to go everywhere with me? I think that's what bugs Cherryfeather," he meowed, playfully, again.

"Oh stop it, you." Marshwillow flushed. "I'm going to tell the whole clan about this, if you don't keep down," she meowed.

"I guess you should go get the others then," he meowed.

Marshwillow padded across the moor, looking for Brightflower and Featherpaw. Featherpaw was sharing tongues with Reedpaw near a small boulder.

"Um, Featherpaw, Ripplefang wants you on a patrol with me, Frogwhisker, and Brightflower." She hated to interrupt, but some cat had to do it.

"Oh, okay! Is it a hunting one?" she replied.

"Yes," Marshwillow mumbled.

She and Frogwhisker then went off to go find Brightflower, but this time she was just eating at the fresh kill with Sagecloud.

Ooh, Marshwillow thought.

"Umm, Ripplefang wants us for patrol, Brightflower. Hunting patrol," she meowed.

"Okay," Brightflower replied, touching noses with Sagecloud before getting up and walking to the camp entrance.

"Alright, let's go," Marshwillow meowed.

In a few seasons Brightflower will be a queen with Sageclouds kits, I just know it!

But, thats what everyone will expect me and Frogwhisker to have kits, but I'm not ready yet. Maybe that's the way Brightflower feels, but I could be completely wrong and they aren't mates at all, perhaps...

Marshwillow noticed Cherryfeather wasn't in camp,

Probably on a hunting patrol, she thought.

They all set out, and Frogwhisker felt a bit better.

"Let's split up, Marshwillow you go towards the ThunderClan border," Brightflower instructed.

Marshwillow padded away, and shrugged, although she didn't want to run into another ThunderClan cat. Brightflower said something else to the others, and she couldn't quite catch it in time.

Marshwillow scented a squirrel. She dropped into a hunters crouch swiftly, and followed the scent trail. It was just on the ground sniffing around.

She pounced for it, she almost missed it by a fox length, but she managed to just get it. She sighed in relief and thanked StarClan for the prey, as she looked for more.

She spotted a mouse scurry into a bush and immediately flee but she dropped into her hunters crouch and crept slowly towards it. Hopefully it didnt see me bury that squirrel, otherwise maybe that's why it fleed, She thought.

Focus! Marshwillow told herself.

She crept more and more towards it, eyeing her surroundings she made sure there was no leaves, branches, or bushes that she would brush her pelt against, and make a loud noise with.

She saw it. she grabbed its tail with her claw, and she swiftly bit into it, killing it quickly. The she-cat buried the mouse next to the squirrel.

A few minutes passed and she caught a vole and a shrew to add on.

Newleaf has been grateful to us. She though. Thank StarClan!

Marshwillow came back with all her prey, stuffed in her mouth, the mouse tail dangling. She smirked, as Frogwhisker was carrying two mice.

Frogwhisker looked cluelessly at her and just tried to laugh, but failed because his mouth was stuffed too.

Brightflower could still talk with one prey in her mouth.

"Lets get back," she meowed, stretching.

Marshwillow and Frogwhiskers replies were just mumbles, but when they got back to camp, she noticed Cherryfeather back from camp, so she she spat her prey out, and bounded towards her, Frogwhisker behind her.

"Maybe I should go..." Frogwhisker's voice drifted off.

"No, I want to see to see if Cherryfeather can accept it. It's not going to get any better if we don't make a move," Marshwillow replied to him.

Cherryfeather sighed, and looked up at her.

"What?" she asked.

Frogwhisker was immediately trembling, it hadn't been a while since Cherryfeather told him to do something, Marshwillow wanted to see if she still did that.

"Cherryfeather, can I speak to you? Frogwhisker, you can go now if you want," Marshwillow meowed.

I'm going to explain everything to her. I want her to understand, I want her to be okay with this, I want her to give me her opinions.

"O-Of, C-Course, Marshwillow." Frogwhisker trembled, scurring off.

"What do you want?" Cherryfeather asked again.

"I want to speak to you about Frogwhisker, if that's okay. I understand if you don't." Marshwillow flattened her ears, waiting for a reply. She'll probably say no, I still think she doesn't like Frogwhisker that much, but I really do care for her and him! I want it just to be clarified here and now. Honestly.

Cherryfeather stood silent, and gazed at her for a moment.
