I'm going to go hang out with Maddie and August. Like I really needed this. With the power of makeup I cover my bruises.

" I'll be back ". I say.

" Be home before 8 ". He said.

When I got to the restaurant I saw Maddie and August there with some other guy. I sat next to August and smiled at him.

" Hey Guys ". I say with a smile.

" Whats up ".

" Girl I haven't seen you in a while ". Maddie said.

" Yeah ".

The waiter came an he took our orders for drinks.

" River come with me to the bathroom ". Maddie asked.

" Sure ".

I got up and followed her.

August POV

The fuck she being so weird for. I grabbed her phone and unlocked it. I went to her messages with that nigga Ten what ever his fucking name is. The last thing he text her was;

" You better not be doing shit I don't know like "

Who the fuck is he.

I got up and went to the bathroom they were in I didn't go in I waited for them to come out. They came out and I grabbed River's arm and pulled her to the side.

" What the hell August ". She say.

" Stay the hell away from that nigga ". I say.

" August it's not like that ". She say smiling.

" River what if he hits you ". I said being serious.

" He isn't going to hit me ". She say walking away.

She walked away and I just looked at her.
