I found the boys downstairs arguing but they went silent as soon as they saw me.
"Take a seat." Allen offered
I took a seat in the only spot that was available on the couch, right next to Carson.
He cleared his thraot as he stood before me,"So as I said before I have something to tell you."
I nodded,"Go on." I urged
"So I know you already know that I'm always missing school and well there's a deeper meaning in why." He started off,"What I'm about to tell you may come to a surprise and-"
"Just get to the point." I dismissed
"(Sigh) I'm in a gang...we all are." He said gesturing to everyone
My eyebrows shot up,"A what?!"
"Look I was gonna tell you but what we do is dangerous you could get hurt just knowing." He said
"OK but a gang?! Are you crazy?!" I asked,"And for what!?"
"I don't think you wanna know." He chuckled nervously
"Um oook but are you gonna at least tell me why?"
"It's a long story.."
"Well please go ahead, I've got time."
"OK well it all started back 2 summers ago when I got my first summer job.."
Allen's P.O.V: 2 Summer's Ago
"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you?" Mom asked
"I'm fine mom I can ride my bike." I said
"OK well be careful honey."
I waved to her as I took off, the wind whipping back my hair.
It took me about 10 minutes before I arrived at my first summer job: Ruby's Tattoo Shop I was taking an open shift.
It was already around 8 o'clock when I entered the store.
Your probably wondering how I got this job right? Well honestly I don't know either, it started after I had gotten into a fight with some guy.
After we fought his dad came to talk to me, at first I thought he would pummel me because I had beat his son,but he approached me in peace.
He told me that he respected me and I showed toughness, and he offered me a job here. So I took it without hesitation because I needed the money if I wanted to buy myself a car.
So yeah that's pretty much how I got hired no questions asked.
I enter the shop to be greated by the smell of fresh ink.
One guy spotted me and waved me over, I went over right away.
"You must be Allen, Zeus told me you'd be coming." He said
"Uh yeah that's me."
"Great, my names Clark by the way, why don't you go over to Lucy and she'll get you to work." He told me pointing to a girl positioned in the corner
