*Dean's POV*
______________________________
I pulled up in front of mine and Sam's room. April pulled up and parked next to me. She go out of the car and walked around to the trunk. I mimicked her actions and walked around baby. I opened the trunk and pulled out my dufflel bag and shut it. I walked over to her and grabbed her bag out of her hands. "I'll take care of that."
"Thanks, but no thanks. I can carry my own bag. Not a damsel in distress, remember?" She was witty as hell, like myself. I just shrugged. "Could have fooled me." I smirked and walked to the room door. She very audibly scoffed. I pulled out my key and opened it. I threw my bag onto one of the beds and walked to the fridge. Thankfully Sammy stocked it with the essentials: beer and pie. "Sam, this is April Wesson. I ran into her at the bar....I mean library." Sam just looked at me.
"Library. Good one. April Wesson? As in Ri, the daughter of Mark Wesson, dad's old buddy?" Sam started asking.
"In the flesh. At least someone remembers who I am Dean," Sam looked between the two of us and laughed.
"Don't look at me like that Sam. She's hotter that she used to be." After I realized what I said my face got hot. I looked at Ri and she was blushing a deep shade of scarlet. "Um where's the needles and dental floss at Sammy?" I was trying to change the subject as quick as possible.
Sam got up from the table his computer sat on. He walked over to his duffel and pulled out a tin that was our "first aid kit." Who got banged up this time?" Sam asked. I looked at Ri and she looked up at Sam.
"That would be me. It seems your brother likes to cut first ask questions later. He might have some slight anger issues too." she just smilled and winked at me.
"Hey! In my defense, we were drinking and you started asking questions and me, Sam, and Cas. Plus I didn't exactly recognize you." I was trying to defend myself.
'"It's okay Dean; Chill out. I've been through way worse than this scratch." April assured me. She was one tough ass chick. I walked over to her and grabbed her bag and set it next to mine on my bed. "Why don't you sit right here Ri, and let me take a look at this cut of yours."
Sam pulled out the chair across from the one he was sitting in. I walked to the bathroom and got a wet rag and a towel. I brought them over the Sam and he took them. He set the towel under her arm and untied her flannel and put it on the table. "Hey Dean, can you get the whiskey out of my bag?"
I followed his request and pulled the bottle of Jack out of his bag and handed it to him. I sat down in Sam's vacant seat to watch. He pulled out the needles, floss, and scissors. He used the wet rag to wipe the dry blood off Cat's cut.
"Dean, we really need to talk about your depth perception. This is a little much, even for you." Yeah yeah, he was always making smart remarks about my skills.
"Sure Sam, right after we talk about your ability to not pick up chicks." he looked at me and smirked.
Fice minutes later he was just about done stitching up Ri's arm. He told Cat to hang on to something cause it was gonna burn, then he poured some Jack over her newly closed battle wound. She gasped a little bit but then looked like she was okay again. I felt guilty. That cut was so gonna scar over and become a permanent blemish on her perfect body.
"Thanks Sam." He handed her the bottle of alcohol and she gladly accepted it, taking a swig of it's contents. Sam put a gauze on the cut and sealed in place with medical tape.
"All done, you're free to go." he told her. She smiled at him and took another drink.
"Sorry again Ri. Can't be to careful, right?"
"It's all good Dean. No hard feelings...it happens." She stood up and stretched. I like her. She's got a tough exterior. I started to think about how she was when we were younger. She was basically the same as now except she didn't seen so......hollow maybe? I'm curious as to whats gonna happen now that we ran into eachother.
