Chapter 1: A Birthday Party.

(Also, I really think the song above, Nightmare by NateWantsToBattle, is like a theme song for this story..) 

Jaiden (JaidenAnimations):

I try on my last dress and spin around for a while. The purple glitters with my matching earrings, and I blush, even though no one can see me in the dressing rooms. I change back to my jeans and shirt and walk to the counter. I pay for both the earrings, and the dress, and walk out feeling refreshed. I was invited to a birthday party from a fellow YouTuber by the name of "Nathan Smith," who I've never heard of, but since my YouTube friend, James, was going as well, I jumped in too.

      I didn't have too much party dresses, so I was super hyped when I bought the purple one. It was such a fit, that I was sure I would be crowned, "Best Dressed." After arriving home, I immediately start working on my new animated video.

       Right when I was about to doze off, - midway through my video, -  my pocket vibrates. I jolt up, rub my eyes, and pull out my vibrating phone. James' face fills the screen, and I answer it, trying not to look like I just dozed off.

Me: *yawn* Hey James, what's up?

James: Hey, are you here yet? The party has started!

Me: Wait, WHAT?

     I stand, and multiple hangers poke me on my head. I open the door to my closet, and light fills my eyes. Unlike 30 seconds ago, when I was dead tired, my whole body was like, "GET READY NOW!!" Forgetting about all my scattered things, I trip and fall, getting a big scratch on my hand. As my hand burns, I run into the bathroom and turn on the shower. I didn't care about the scratch, I just wanted to get ready. Right before I entered the hot shower, I hear a familiar voice.

James: Uh, hello? Jaiden?

    "Oh crap!" I say, grabbing my phone from the stand. I quickly blabber something and hang up. I was super rushed that I forgot to end James' call! He probably thinks I'm crazy. Probably. Anyway, I do a quick minute shower and zip up my dress as soon as my body dries. I check the time on my phone. 5:27. The party started 27 minutes ago!!

     I'm pretty sure that everyone was already at the party, unlike me, who is changing their clothes at that time. I hang on my earrings, slip on my flats, and shoot through the door.

     I was halfway there when I realized that I forgot the birthday present.

Nathan, whoever you may be, I'm really sorry.
