Chapter 16: Pulled By Mother's Strings.

Nate (NateWantsToBattle):

          The door to freedom closes, and I can't do anything anymore. "Hopefully she understands..." 

Nova: 

          "Why isn't she telling me anything? I'm trying to be as forceful as possible, but she won't budge. I just want to stab her just like I did to Matt, but she's a poor unfortunate soul. But then, so is Matt. Oh, how I miss listening to his theories every week..." I think as my mom comes into view. "Great job my darling. You've done an amazing job that you've got another one in your net. I will give you something in return. What would you like?" My mom says, smiling. 

          "Mom, can I have sometime to think about it?" I ask in my head, and she nod and dissolves away. I go back to scared Angel, and I grab a seat. "Please don't do anything to me... I'm only twelve..." I touch her thigh, and she flinches. "Whoa, please calm down young girl. I'm not here to hurt you," I say reassuringly, but she doesn't show any signs of calming down. "I just need to ask one question. I promise, I'm not here to hurt anyone. Just please, hear me out." I say, bringing the chair closer to the girl. She stopped being tense, but she asked, "If you ask one question, can I ask one?" I had a sudden burst of anger from my mom, and I tried to control it, but I couldn't. I bite my tongue and held my breath as my mom screamed in my ear. After I couldn't hear my mom anymore, I sighed. "Alright you may." But before I asked my question, I already had an answer. "Give me a moment," I say going into my brain to talk to mom. 

          "Mom, I've got my wish." I say aloud in my head, and my mom comes back. "What is you wish, my darling?" 

          "I want for you to stop controlling me. I want to make my own decisions. I want you to get out of my head, and bring Nathan Sharp with you." I say, sounding confident. 

          My mom was speechless, but she promised me one wish, so she had to grant it. But before she left out of my head, she said, "I will make you suffer if you don't make me young again." I nod, as I see her swift out of my head, forever. 

Nate (NateWantsToBattle):

          "Wait, why can I suddenly move again? Where am I?" I think in my head, as I feel human again. Just before I was just a memory in someone's brain, and now I can actually move again! 

          My eyes open by themselves, and I'm hyped to see blackness. I sit up, and try to see anything, but all around me is darkness. As I try to see some light, my mind replays what had happened to me before. 

*A Few Hours Before*

          After Matt had left to park the car, Nova pulled me into a hug. "Nate sir, I'm so glad I came to you, I just wished my mom chose someone else..." I was confused of what she said, but before I could ask, I felt a needle stab me right in the neck. It felt like a vampire bite, but instead of sucking blood, this was inserting something into my veins. "Nate, I'm so sorry I have to do this, but I will avenge you, I promise.I'll only hurt for a moment..."  I felt a coldness of where the shot was, and I immediately let my instincts take over. I grab Nova's arm, and twist it behind her back. She winces, but I didn't care. I grab the injection from my neck, and throw it on the ground, breaking it. There was adrenaline pumping through my soul that I nearly forgot about the injection. Nearly forgot.
