*Ayla's POV*

"So I have a date I guess with Melo tonight," I laughed a little, "He said he's taking me to Dave and Busters for dinner and to play some of the arcade games."
"What a charm," Iris rolled her eyes playfully as she laughed.
"I don't mind," I laughed, smiling at her, "Kinda sounds like a nice date to be honest."
"Sounds like a date you'd like," Dina laughed a little. I shook my head at them, but couldn't help to smile.

4 o'clock rolled around soon and I had just got back from Iris's house. Melo said he was coming over at 4:30 to get me. At Iris's Dina did my makeup and my hair so I just had to change. I set my duffle bag down and emptied it out, putting dirty clothes in my hamper and my makeup on the vanity and so on. I went to my closet and looked around at the clothes. I got my outfit out and changed into it, deciding in the mirror if I liked it or not. I decided on and checked the time. Perfect, 4:28. I went downstairs and waved at my mom, who was sitting on the couch. "I'll see you after dinner," I smiled.
"Have fun hun!" she smiled at me. I nodded and walked out to the porch. I sat down on the top step and watched for Melo's car.

Soon later he pulled up and I walked over to his car. I got into the passenger side and smiled over at him. "Have we ever hung out before?" Melo asked with a laugh, as he started to drive.
"I don't think we ever have, alone anyways," I laughed, "maybe in a group."
"Ahh cause you one of Iris's friends right?" he asked.
"Yeah I am," I laughed a little.
"Gotcha," he nodded his head. We continued to talk while we were in the car until we pulled up to Dave and Busters. We both got out of the car and walked inside.

We ate our dinner first and talked. He was really nice to talk to. He was funny and he was so chill. He was a lot less wild when it was just us together. "You ready to play?" he chuckled.
"I'm ready to beat yo ass," I gave him a cocky smile.
"Is that so?" he laughed.
"Damn straight," I stood up, and he followed. I laughed a little and smiled at him. We walked over to the games and started playing. We were both very competitive about the kids. We played just about every game in there. Leaving Melo's favorite for last. The basketball shooting game. "Alright ready to lose?" he looked at me.
"No, cause I'm not gonna!" I laughed. We started the game. Both of us shooting the small basketballs into the hoops. We were pretty close in score. He glanced over at me and laughed. He shot his basketball and leaned over, bumping me, making me miss. "LaMelo!!! You cheated!!" I gasped, looking at him. I shoved him off balance and started shooting again. He was now up by 4 baskets. He shot another and picked me up by the waist. "Nuh uh!!" he laughed, I squealed a little as he turned me around and set me back on my feet. I went to grab a basketball but the game ended. "You so cheated!!" I crossed my arms, looking at him.
"I won fair and square," he smirked cockily down at me. I scoffed and pushed his chest gently. "You know you're cute when you're mad," he chuckled, his hands moving to my waist.
"No I'm not," I shook my head, "I'm mad when I'm mad."
"Nahh I think you pretty damn cute," he smiled at me. I couldn't help but crack a smile. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders, standing on my tippy toes. I smiled up at him and we both got quiet. He kissed my forehead after a minute and pulled away. I giggled a little and smiled at him. "C'mon lets get you back home," he smiled, taking my hand. He locked his fingers in with mine and I smiled at him. We walked back out to his car and got in.

"I had a really good time," he smiled at me.
"So did I," I smiled at him. He placed another kiss on my forehead, giving my stomach a rush of butterflies. "Text me," he nodded.
"I will," I nodded and went back inside.
