Just For Summer

*Ayla's POV*

I put my phone into my back pocket as Iris parked her car in the parking lot of the park. Us three got out and saw Melo, Will, and Daijon. "They beat us," Dina laughed. I laughed a little and we all walked down there. LaMelo walked over to me and kissed my forehead. "Eww fuck out of here!" Daijon yelled. I laughed and gave Melo a hug. I pulled away and looked at him. "Ready to get your ass beat huh??" I laughed.
"That's not gonna happen," he chuckled.

It was the girls against the boys, first to 25 wins. The score was 23-24 the boys were up. I stole the ball from Melo and threw it to Iris. She ran to the opposite side of the court and made a layup. "25 bitch!!!" I yelled. I gave Iris a highfive and us three hugged. Us girls were all laughing and the guys were groaning. We all pulled away. "Suckers," Dina taunted. I laughed and walked up to Melo. "Pay back for last night," I laughed, wrapping my arms around his neck. He put his hands on my hips and laughed a little. "Shut up nigga," he laughed. I slapped his chest and looked at him. "Nooo I'm your girl I aint that," I laughed.
"Awe you right," he laughed, kissing my had.
"You just a summer girl!" Will laughed.
"Shut up!" Melo and I both yelled at him at the same time. We looked back at each other and laughed. I shook my head at him and hugged him tighter. He wrapped his arms around my waist tighter and kissed my shoulders. "You wanna sleep at my place tonight?" he whispered to me.
"Yes I do," I nodded and smiled small.
"Ight you can leave with me," he nodded, "And I'll drop you off to pack drop their ugly asses off then come back and get you."
"Sounds good to me," I laughed a little and smiled at him. I kissed his cheek and pulled away smiling at him.

Melo picked me back up at my place after dropping the guys off. I got in the passenger side and put my bag in the backseat. "You readdyyy?" he asked.
"For cuddles? Yes," I laughed.
"Bet," he laughed and drove to his house. We pulled into his place and he took me inside. "Dad this is Ayla," he introduced me.
"Hey," I smiled, waving at him.
"Whats up girl?!" he smiled at me.
"Is it cool If she stays the night?" he asked.
"Yeah that's fine," he nodded and smiled at us.
"That's my mom Tina," he pointed her out to me. I waved at her as well, earning a smile back. We went up to his room. I set my bags down in the corner and sat down on his bed.

We been cuddling watching the some movie on Netflix. I felt him staring at me. I looked up at him slowly and he didn't look away. "Is it too early to kiss you?" he whispered. I shook my head, watching him. I glanced from his lips to eyes and licked my lips. He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. I kissed back right away. The butterflies started fluttering and goosebumps ran up my back. He pulled away after a minute and licked his bottom lip. "That was good," he nodded.
"Really good," I smiled at him.

I got home the next afternoon. I took my phone out and called Dina right away. "Hey girl how did it-" I cut her off.
"We kissed," I giggled, smiling big.
"Awe oh my god no way!" she squealed, "Tell me about it!"
"It was soo good it felt so good, " I smiled, "It felt like cloud 9."
"Don't get too attached y'all just together for the summer, remember?" she looked at me. I let out a sigh as my smile dropped a little. She was right. After summer we aren't anything. Might as well live it up now I guess. "Well might as well live it up while it's here," I shrugged.
"You right girl," she laughed, smiling at me. I forced a smile back at her but she was right. What she said wouldn't leaved my mind. Just here for the summer... To him I'm just here for the summer...
