"May the angels bless his soul for what is going to happen to him"
I say grinning from ear to ear.

Max POV

This is a normal gym by day, but by night it is an illegal fighting arena.

one of those guys from the sementary turn around from talking to his friends then he started walking forward from one side.  He then stopped in the middle and started to talk to someone I'm guessing his manager/coach turning his back towards me.

When I saw his back, I remembered where I saw him.

As I finished putting on my full face black mask he turns around.

We make eye contact,

His eyes never leaving mine,

As well as mine never leaving his.

It may sound romantic but it's the complete opposite.

He then walks closer, my face is covered except for my eyes. He looks at my eyes thinking where he has seen my eyes before. Then at my covered face. He smirked seeing I'm a girl.

He is thinking I'm easy to beat because I see it in his face and in his smirk. I get mad but I control my facial reactions when I'm angry here.

We then go to our sections. After taking my parents wedding rings off, I hand them to my coach. he then starts to wrap my wrists and hands. When he finished he started telling me to control my anger and sadness as well as to not harm the guy too much.

When I'm about to go in the arena my coach says, "Remember they are always with you in here and out of here" He was my parents couch, he is like an uncle to me. I nod softly thinking about that. After my couch finishes up wrapping my hands I walk to the middle of the ring and me and my opponent look at each other face to face. The referee was going over the rules with us. He said at the count of 3 you start.

"1...
....2
...3..."

We started to circle each other. Never leaving our eyes from one another.  That was when I noticed he was limping from his right side. It looks like he got hurt not too long ago. I then think to myself still paying attention to him

"Should I go easy... Or rough? "

Then I remember today was the death of my parents so I say

"Rough"

He decided to go first, by the looks of his face he got mad. He lifted up his right arm and was about to punch me, I blocked it and I punched him in his stomach. He winced a bit, then I punched him in his face. He went to punch me with his right so I blocked it and punched him with my left. It went on for 30 minutes until he was going to punch me with his left arm,
he faked it, and he ended up giving me a black eye. I punched his stomach and his face repeatedly and after that I decided I have enough, I punched his temple just enough to knock him out.

The referee came up to me and he held my right hand up. There were a lot of screams and cheers from women and some men, most men. There were some that were booing but they were mostly men that booed.

They can't get over that girls can actually fight.

As I get out my couch hands me my money and my parents wedding rings, and he examines my eye. He started to say "Are you okay? Can you see? " I reply by saying  "Yes couch,  I can still see. I think it's going to swell up when I get home because he didn't hit me really hard." I chuckle a bit and he does too.

I say
"Bye uncle Jay"

I walk to the back entrance
And before leaving I take the mask off and put it in my bag with the money and my stuff.

I put the black mask I walked in with because I need to be extra careful with letting people see me after each fight.
People can recognize me and they won't stop bugging and blackmailing me to train them,
And or they want to kill me,
Or force me to join there gang.

I started to think about that as I walk to the bus stop.
