"Shut up!" Raven growled, baring her sharp fangs at the hostile sophomore. She wasn't going to let scum like him get into her head, or see that his words hurt her. He can insult her all he wants, but if he insults Soda, it'll be the last thing he ever does.
"Aww, Bird-Girl thinks she can scare us," he chuckled at the rest of his group. "Maybe we should teach her a lesson". Raven knew exactly where this was going. She flapped her enormous wings, making a huge gust of air that almost knocked over the sophomores, grabbed Soda under her arms, and flew of into the sky outside the high school. After a while of flying, Raven and Soda finally reached their apartment. They dropped down to the ground and walked into the lonely apartment building until they got to their apartment.
"Why did you do that!" Soda yelled once we got inside.
"Do what? Protect us?" Raven replied, confused at Soda's sudden outburst.
"You flew away from a fight we could have won! Those sophomores didn't stand a chance and you knew it!" Soda retorted.
"Yes, I did know that but we aren't like that anymore, remember. We have to put that part of us in the past. Something we both agreed on," argued Raven. She didn't understand why Soda was so upset about this when they both agreed, no more fighting.
"You're right, like usual. Sorry, Raven," Soda said, defeated as she slumped down on the couch. Raven walked, sat down on the couch next to her, and hugged Soda gently.
"I know that sometimes it would be nice to start all over again, but we can't. We just can't do it anymore. We didn't survive this long without it for no reason. You have to remember that," Raven gently said. Soda grabbed Raven's arm and held it closer to her.
"Thanks, Raven. You're the best sister I could ask for".
