"Um im gonna go to my room" Jake says "why? Are you okay?" Erika pulls Jake aside "yeah I'm fine I just wanna be alone" Jake says "take off your sweater it's like 100 degrees in here" Erika tells Jake "no it's fine" Jake tells her "at least roll up your sleeves" she rolls his sleeves up "Jake" Erika says , Jake pulls his sleeves back down and puts his hand behind his back "I'm gonna go to my room" Jake says "no your not why are you doing that" Erika asks "you didn't see that okay?" Jake tells her "no I did I know what I saw Jake talk to me" Erika says "I'm going to my room Erika sorry let me be alone" Jake says as he runs off to his room and locks the door. He lays down alone in the dark and glance at his belt hanging in his closet. "Maybe I could try again." He says to himself. Jake gets up very weak grabs his belt puts it around his neck ties the other part to the top of his closet. But Erika knows everyone's lock codes to their doors she she goes into jakes room and see him trying to kill him self. "Jake no!" She screams and she fights for the belt off his neck. "Why ? Erika why me? Why does everyone hate me?" Jake cries and he falls to the floor. "Jake no body hates you." Erika says as she hugs him, she looks at his wrist and sees a huge amount of scars. "Jake talk to me what's wrong why are you doing this?" Erika asks. "No cuz it just sounds like I'm being dramatic." Jake says "listen I'm here to listen to you idc how dramatic it sounds I'm here for you so talk to me." Erika claims. "I'm the mistake Erika I've been told that everyday growing up my parents said that as the beat me . I can't do it anymore. The only person I trust backstabbed me. And my mom actually stabbed my back before as a child. Erika I'm no one to the world. Everyday at school as well. They hate me they hate me. I'm worthless I wanna die I'm gonna die Erika you need to let me it's better for the world my mom told me everyday the condom broke i was the mistake. She hated me she told me Erika. I hate myself." Jake cries on her shoulder "Jake your not worthless your the most important person in my life we care and we're here for you. Idc what you think were here and we're never leaving. I love you Jake your my bestfriend. " Erika says to him "let me die Erika it's for everyone's sake" Jake looks at her deep in the eyes. Erikas POV: when Jake looked me in the eyes I saw everything. He's broken. He's hurt. He's frustrated. He's depressed. He has anxiety. He has a horrible feeling in himself. And now I could see that fake smile he's been putting on his whole life. He's empty and he needs attention. After all he's still a kid he's 19.
"I'm going to bed" Jake says as he weakly gets up "I'm staying with you" Erika says "let me be alone please Erika." Jake tells her "no after I just saw you try to kill yourself absolutelynot" she claims "fine but I'm going to sleep" Jake says as he jumps on his bed. Erika cuddles up with him and they fall asleep
