Maddison's POV

Min Jung left early.

Sigh. It is after all my fault. I wish I could've expressed how I love her as a workmate. I didn't even thank her for teaching me.

My chest feels heavy. My eyes are on the verge of raining tears. I want to let this all out but not here.

I stopped working for a while and went outside the office to get some late lunch as I am starving. I walked with my head hung low going to the elevators. Every step I take is heavy as if my feet are locked with chains. A huge weight fell on my shoulders as I dragged my feet to walk.

"Hey! It's Maddison!"

I looked up to the elevators opening.

Gods. Why did I have to bump into them? Now I'm starting to hate elevators.

"Can't read my, can't read my! No you can't read my--"

"Poker face!"

The famous twins from the travel photography department finished each other's lines. They high fived each other as if they've had a job well done singing the song. If it was any other day I'd probably purse my lips and hold back a smile then avoiding them but this day is different. It's not the right time to bump into them.

They both have deer like eyes that seem to sparkle everytime I see them. Both have thin lips, sharp noses and both have the same curly blonde hair like ramen.

I can only distinguish them from their moles under their eyes.

Their arms are wrapped around each other's shoulder with their smiles mirroring one another.

"Long time no see Maddison!" The twin at the right greeted who has the mole under his right eye. "You've been really avoiding us."

"I was hoping it stayed longer Tae Oh," I replied entering the elevator ignoring his last statement. I pressed the button and the doors closed.

Tae Oh gasped feigning hurt over my comment, his hands flew over his chest looking at his twin.

"Taemin! She's so mean!"

Taemin on the other hand, started laughing his head off clapping like a seal. Tae Oh's jaw dropped, disappointed with his twin.

"Don't laugh Taemin. I was pertaining to the both of you."

He froze midway through his clapping, His face fell looking at his twin with the same exact expression. They rested their hands on each other's shoulders, facing each other. They started to fake cry. Their wailing resonated inside the elevator.

"Oh stop it. I know it's fake." My arms crossed. "Aren't you guys supposed to go on our floor?"

Their wailing stopped at once. They looked at one another then to the red digits at the top then back to each other.

"Crap," Tae Oh cursed, "Taemin it's all your fault! You were too busy laughing that we forgot to go out!"

"So you're placing the blame on me?" Taemin scoffed as if offended, "isn't Maddison the real reason why we went there in the first place?"

A sudden realization dawned on Tae Oh's face as he looked at me, his sockets about to pop. Taemin then hit the back of Tae Oh's head.

"You're stupid."
