Aikatsu Street 5 - Triple Trouble | An Aikatsu Fanfic

Otome Arisugawa carefully climbed up the tree in her backyard. It was a very nice tree, it used to hold a tree house called Starlight, however, this tree house was burnt down two and half years ago by lighting. Not only had it burnt down Starlight, but it had slit the tree in half! Otome just adored climbing up the middle with her triplet sisters, Mikuru and Sakura. And it gave her a view of the house next to them, 122 Aikatsu Street.

Formerly, a nice family lived next to the Arisugawas, the Hanazono family. The Arisugawa Triplets were great friends with Kirara Hanazono, until she moved last year. They were still friends, but Kirara's move had sort of muted their friendship. Otome couldn't help feeling a little bad about it, she hoped their were no hard feelings.

Now, a new family had moved in next door. No one knew anything about them! Only that it was a family with a single mother and that she had one kid, but no one knew if it was a girl or a boy or how old he or she was. Otome had to know, she had to find out.

Otome took out her binoculars and tried to spy the neighbors, without being notice too of course. Otome looked, so far she only saw walls ... just walls. then she found a window! Hooray! It was the living room, it was already different from when the Hanazono family lived there, she could tell. For starters, the rabbit cage with living rabbits inside.

"LOVE YOU!" Otome said in a loud whisper

The Arisugawas didn't have a pet, not unless you counted the fish that swam in their pound. Otome just wanted an animal to pet, other families had animals living with them, so why not them? The Nijino family had chickens, five of them: Rosalie, Susan, Renee, Cecelia Inderia Alexis III (who everyone just called Cia), and Nancy. The Yuki family had a tiny turtle named Acorn, who everyone just thought was the cutest thing in the world. The Kurosawa and Saotome family had cats, Miranda and Cinnamon. The Igarashi family had a dog named Pepper, and now the new neighbors had rabbits.

Now, back to investigating. What else could she see?

Otome tried to look around at the second floor but all the curtains were closed, almost like they knew Otome was going to -

"What are you doing up there?"

"Ah!" Otome jumped and nearly fell off the tree. It was Mikuru. Otome took a few breath before reply "Why?"

"Get down," said Mikuru. Otome sighed and quickly jumped down. "We're you spying on the neighbors again?"

"I have to learn more about them!"

"You can do that by actually talking with them," Mikuru told Otome with a laugh "You are so silly,"

Otome smiled and stuck out her tongue right before Mikuru's phone pinged. Mikuru took out her sell and laughed, it could only be Sena. 

Tsubasa Sena was a schoolmates of there's at Aikatsu Middle School & High School. Before he had been dating Akari Oozora, a student at Venus Prep and friend of nearly everyone on Aikatsu Street, but after they broke up in summer, he and Mikuru started dating. Mikuru also had her own phone, she was the only one who got one at their birthday a few months ago. Ever since she gave Sena her number they seemed to always be on the phone, calling, texting, everything there was to do on a cell phone (which Otome now realized was infinite). Sena also sent Mikuru hilarious pictures of animals or plants, she couldn't help but laugh.

Otome saw Mikuru type in a quick LOL then put her phone back in her pocket. (Thank goodness) "Well, better get started with the gardening," said Mikuru "Have you seen my watering can?"

"The shed," said Otome as she skipped inside

"Thanks,"

Otome walked into the living room, Otome loved to look at a wall that was covered in pictures from all the fun they had in the past, before Mikuru started dating (ICK!).

Sakura was reading in the dining room which was not too far from the living room. "Sakura," said Otome

Sakura looked up from her book. "Yes?"

"Why does it feel like everyone is dating?" Otome asked

"Everyone isn't dating," said Sakura

"But it feels like it,"

"Hmm," Sakura thought about it "I guess we're just in that stage of life. We're getting older,"

Otome could agree with the 'getting older' part. Kaede Igarashi, a neighbor in Aikatsu Street, was the first to go to college and was now boarding at Aikatsu University. The Arisugawa Triplets were only four short years away from college themselves. Before it felt like such a long time away, but now, with Kaede away and so many friends of theirs going next year, it felt like it was right around the corner.

"Sakura," said Otome "Who's going to college next year?"

"Um," Sakura tried to remember "Subaru, Nozomu, Hime, Tsubasa, Yozora, and Sena,"

"Will Sena and Mikuru break up if he goes to college, like Nozomu and Aria?"

"They are not breaking up," Sakura stated

"Hmm,"

Nozomu Igarashi and Aria Nijino were the power couple of Aikatsu Street ever since the Arisugawa Triplets first year in a middle school. But now Aria was questioning their relationship since Nozomu would be going to college in only a few short months.

"I'm sure they'll stay together," said Sakura "Nozomu and Aria I mean, not ... you know,"

"Yeah," Otome nodded. Then her stomach grumbled "Man, spying makes me hungry. Sakura, want some Pop'n Popcorn?"

"No thanks," Sakura shook her head, starting to return to her book

"More for me then," Otome went into the kitchen and began making herself a big container full of her favorite: Pop'n Popcorn. As she did, she couldn't help but see the house next door, now filled with mysteries. "I wonder what the new neighbors are like,"
