Wrongs Made Right

It was the strangest thing, Mikuru had been trying to contact Sena all day but he wasn't responding to any of her messages. He avoided her in the halls, at lunch, on the bus, didn't even look at her. Had she done something?

"Muleta!" Mikuru called to Muleta Atsuro "Is Sena mad at me about something? He's not talking to me at all today, did I upset him or something?"

"You seriously don't know?" Muleta asked "Those texts you sent him!"

"What texts?"

"He told me, you told him not to text him anymore. You didn't give any explanation why either, pretty rude you know," Muleta explained "Anyway, he's just upset cause after breaking up with Akari and then you're no better, etc."

"I never sent a text like that!" said Mikuru

"I'm only repeating what he told me,"

Mikuru had to think, why would Sena think she sent texts like that. Who would  send texts like that? Mikuru was in a bit of a daze for the rest of the day. Nothing made sense.

Then, it was the final period of school when Sakura came to her. "Mikuru," she said

"Hey sister!" Mikuru said with a forced smile "Did you need something?"

"It's ... it's my fault!" Sakura cried

"Huh?"

"I sent texts to Sena saying you didn't want him to call you anymore because I didn't want him to call you anymore!" Sakura started to cry "I was angry and jealous and I wanted to keep you for myself and you kept calling and texting him all the time and you wouldn't stop! I'm a terrible sister,"

"Oh Sakura," Mikuru hugged her sister "You're not a terrible sister,"

"Yes I am!"

"No you're not," said Mikuru "I'm sorry if it felt like I was ignoring you. Do you want to explain everything to Sena for me,"

"Y- ... yes," Sakura nodded

Mikuru watched as Sakura and Sena talked. Sakura got a few more tears in her eyes but it looked like she held it together enough to explain everything. Then after a while, Sena walked over to Mikuru. "She explained everything?" Mikuru asked

"Yeah," Sena nodded

"So we're all forgiven,"

Sena smiled "Yes,"

"Great ... cause I need to talk to you,"

"About what?"

"About our relationship,"

Sena nodded "Yeah, I need to talk to you too,"

"Great. But can we walk and talk?" Mikuru asked "I need to pick up birthday presents for Mahiru and Laura,"

"Sure,"

Sena and Mikuru ended up talking all the way to the train station, the post office, then back. "So ... we're both okay with this?" Mikuru asked as she and Sena got off their train

"Yeah," Sena nodded "Dating is just ... not us,"

"Well, it's not for us to try out together," said Mikuru "But the right person is out there somewhere, right? right? Sena?" Sena was starring off in the distance, Mikuru look and on the other side of the station, on another platform, was Akari starring right back at them. Mikuru smiled "I think you already know the right person for you,"

Sena smiled. "Maybe,"

Suddenly Mikuru shoved him forward. "Get out there Romeo!" 

Sena stumbled a bit then nodded and started to run off the platform. Mikuru saw just in time the Akari was doing the same. In a few moments, Sena and Akari were caught up in one big embrace and Mikuru watched happily.

"Wow!" Otome gasped after her sisters told her everything that night "All that was happening?"

"Yeah," Sakura nodded "Mikuru, I'm really sorry,"

"You apologized a thousand times, Sakura!" said Mikuru "It's okay! And from now on, it's sisters before misters!"

"Sisters Before Misters!" Otome cheered "I like it!"

"Me too," said Sakura

"Alright then ..."

"Sisters Before Misters!"
