Chapter 5- And the plan begins 

 

MELISSA'S POV

ONE DAY LATER 

I feel his strong arms wrap around my waist from behind me while I'm sitting on the bed.

"Be careful or you'll wake her" I say and look down at our sleeping baby girl in my arms wrapped in a pretty pink blanket.

I look around my surroundings more and see that I'm in a hospital room with it's a girl and congratulations balloons everywhere.

"How about the name Ellen?" Aidan asks me and kisses my shoulder.

I crinkle my nose at that name. She doesn't look like an Ellen at all. Plus it's a really old name which kind of makes me think of a grandmother.

"No she definitely doesn't look like an Ellen. How about Brynn" I say and smile.

"I like that but she like a princess so we can't give her a modern name." He says

I just give him a weird look and then look back down at our sleeping princess.

Then all of a sudden the perfect name hits me.

"Charlotte" I blurt out

Aidan looks up at me and gives me a confused look

"What baby" He asks me

"How about Charlotte because that's your grandmother's middle name" I say

I'm right she looks like a Charlotte and it's a beautiful name and it suits her well.

"Charlotte Brynn Knight, I like that" Aidan says and fully sits behind me and our daughter.

I lean back against him and smile.

"Hi Charlotte" I say and she finally opens her big green eyes that are the same shade as mine.

"She just as beautiful as her mother." Aidan says and kisses my neck

"You better stop it before they all get here." I tell him referring to when our close friends and family come up I meet our new pride and joy.

"Let them come and see how much in love we are" he says and is about to give me a kiss

Right before our lips touch I wake up from my sleep in a gasp. 

I would be lying if I said I've never had those kinds of dreams before but they've never gone that far.

They were normally just a reunion between us.

Never our future together. 
Never. 
It was kind of a weird kind of nice.

Right then I hear what actually woke me up from my sleep. Harper is right next to my bed poking me.

"Aunt Lissa I don't feel well can I sleep in your bed with you" I hear Harper ask

"Of course baby" I say and feel her forehead which feels a little bit warm.

I scoop her up and place her on my bed and she cuddles right up next to me.

"Harper, I'll be right back okay baby girl." I tell her and remove her arms from me and get out of my bed.

It's Saturday which means I'm not working today which seems like a good thing since Harper seems to be coming down with something. 
I go into my bathroom and grab a thermometer and the trash can.
