"Just go already."

"No, she's probably busy or something - "

"For fucks sake, just – talk to her." Keith said and pushed the still spluttering guytowards the girl on the other side of the room.

"But I - " Shiro tried one last time.

"No."

He sighed, knowing his defeat, and made his way over to her.

Keith really didn't see what the problemwas. Shiro and Allura talked and hung out together many times but still, they weretiptoeing around each other like 12-yearold's. They so obviously liked the other. This had been going on ever since Freshman year, the blushing and stuttering, and Keith couldn't see why they wouldn’t just get together already. This was so painful to watch. He was somehow torn between amazement and disgust when Pidge, his best friend since 7th grade, made her way over to him. He must have had a weird look on his face because Pidgefollowed his gaze over to the two blushingpeople. Shiro was leaning onto the next locker, his hands stuffed deep in his pockets. Keith rolled his eyes as his brother was going to rest his hand on atable but missed and almost tripped. Allura just laughed and helped him back to his feet. Pidge snorted.

"Disgusting."

"Disgusting," Keith agreed, and they made their way down the hallway.

'Where the hell is she?!' Lance thought as he hurried down the stairs and into the hallway.

He and Allura had been talking just seconds ago, but when he had turned around she was nowhere to be seen.  He turned a corner and peered over the heads of people going to their classes. His eyes landed on a familiar head of brown messy hair and glasses. He hurried along andcaught up with Pidge at the end of the hallway.

"Lance?" She asked as he grabbed her arm.

"Hey Pidge, I was just – have you seen Allura?"

A smirk planted itself on her face.

"Actually, I just saw her."

"Oh, where?"

"She and Shiro are love birding just around the corner if you want to interrupt."

He groaned and banged his head into the next wall. He suddenly noticed the person on Pidge's left.

"Keith."

"Lance," the other boy growled.

Just their usual greeting.

They glared at each other for a few moments before continuing their walk down the hallway.

He didn’t know why, but he and Keith had just never really gotten along. Their relationship was all based on arguments, teasing and competitions. They almost always ended up half strangling each other when they hung out together.

"Why can't they just date already?!" Pidge whined and hung on Keith's arm. He patted her head sympathetically.

"Exactly! Like, do they know what they're putting us through?! Making us watch that every day for years?!" Lance cried out and threw his hands in the air.

"Yeah," Keith agreed. "I'm starting to think that we should just get them together or something."

Lance stopped. Keith and Pidge continued walking but then realized that Lance wasn't following. Keith turned around first. He froze. Lance's face was completely blank.

"Lance, what are you-"

Then it turned into the most shit-eating-grin he had ever seen. His mouth closed but the smug smirk was still in its place.

"Keith," he said in the most innocent voice he could master.

"My buddy, my man, my pal. You-" he slung an arm around his shoulders. "Are agenius."

Keith was studying him like trying to figure if he was messing with him.

"Seriously man, what is-" Lance stopped him and turned to face him hands on each of Keith's shoulders.

"We are going to get them together."

It was Keith's face to turn blank, then he looked at him in disbelief.

"No – I was joking – you can't possibly -" but Lance cut him off with a finger on his lips.

"I'm going to call it: 'Operation oblivious'." He waved his free hand in the air before looking thoughtful. "'And remind them to use protection'."

Pidge scoffed somewhere behind them. Keith slapped Lance's hand away.

"But-"

"Nuh-uh." Lance said cutting him off once again.

"You are tired of watching them like this right?"

"Of course, but-"

"Nope Keith, you're not getting out of this one!" Keith heard behind him.

Keith gasped. "Pidge, you traitor!"

She just shrugged and continued scrollingthrough her phone.

He crossed his arms.

"Ugh, fine," he finally growled.

Lance's smirk widened.

"But you are making the plans!" He pointed between Lance and Pidge with narrowed eyes.

He scoffed.

"Do you really think we would let you make the plans?"

Keith just flipped them off and turned away from them while Lance and Pidge snuck a high five when he wasn't looking.
