2 days b4 the lul club performance thingy-

Sitting in the doctors office, bouncing my leg up and down in nervousness, I waited for the doctor to come back with my results.
I was praying it wasnt any bad news. My heart really can't take it.
Then on top of that I have my career to still worry about.
Hearing knocking, I looked up watching the doctor come in.
"Hey Onika, I unfortunately have all bad news."
I took a deep breath trying to stay calm.
"Okay what is?"
"Well...the cancer is back. And It came back harder than before."
"Doc what this mean? I got a lot of shit on my shoulder right now."
"Well it is breast cancer still. But your going to be on new medications, and more chemo. You are going to have another surgery. Then after that more chemo." I sighed.
"When should we do the surgery?"
"I say in the next week in a half. In the mean time, continue taking your meds, and let your immediate family know and prepare for surgery."
-2 days later, after the club performance-
"Meek say something please."
He shook his head and looked up with glossed eyes. "Nika...I dont know what to say. What if you dont make it this time? Like, lets be real. We both know how this can turn out."
"Listen to me. Yes. I'm aware if the outcome. And Ima tell you straight up, Im scared as hell. I wanted to give up a long time ago. But I didnt. I got this far. Im gonna be okay. Im gonna beat this."
I looked at him and began to talk again.
"I want you to move on if I were to..you know, die. Rihmeek Im serious. I want you to know I love you so much. And whatever happens, i want you to move on and be happy. I dont want you stuck on me amd depressed and unhappy"
"No Onika. Your mine. I'm yours. I dont want nobody else."
I sighed and went and cuddled up next to him.
"I love you" I whispered.
"I love you more" he responded as he wiped my falling tear.
