Amaya's POV
For the little while we had hung out outside I had gotten along really well with all the girls and a couple of the guys.
"So Amaya where do you live?" Temari asked me. "I live with Naruto", I replied. All of the girls looked at me wide eyed, a few had their mouths agape.
"You LIVE with Naruto!? Why?!" Sakura frantically asked, clutching my shoulders. I just laughed at their silliness. "Well he's the only family I got" I said, though it's only partially true.
"What do you mean by, 'only family'?" Ino questioned. I looked down, hesitant to answer. "Come on guys that's a touchy subject for her." Naruto interjected, saving me from answering.
A few of them had a sympathetic look in their eyes, I guess they figured my parents were gone. Then the bell rang signaling for us to get to first period.
"So who has English with Kakashi for first period?" I asked looking at everyone." Me, Sasuke, Naruto, Hinata, Kiba, and Gaara." Sakura answered, listing them off. I grinned and fist pumped. "To English!"
Everyone just laughed and we went our separate ways. While walking to class I wasn't really engaging in conversation, because I was trying to get to know my surroundings. Since it was my first day I didn't really know the place, I was making sure I'd know how to find my way to class on my own.
When we finally got to class we all walked in and took our seats at the front. I sat between Hinata and Kiba. Gaara sat behind me, Sasuke and Naruto sat at the table next to us, and Sakura sat behind them. I was currently looking around the class. The teacher still hadn't come in yet which I found a bit strange.
"Hey Kiba is it normal for a teacher to be late here?" I ask him. He looks at me and grins, "For this teacher, yeah." Hmm really a teacher being late? Usually it's the students." Y-yeah he's not very, very punctual." Hinata added.
I turned and looked at Hinata and observed her. She has longish purple hair, and light lilac eyes. She seems kind but a little shy, she also has a nice bust if I do say so myself.
She took notice of me looking at her and blushed." I-Is, is there something on me?" She asked me stuttering a bit. "No, it's just that I noticed you're really pretty." I answered her, she just blushed more and stuttered "Re-Really?"
She was soooooo cute! I just wish she was more confident. "Hinata there's no need to be shy, not around me anyway." I said putting my hand on her shoulder and giving it a squeeze.
"..Okay", she responded with a small smile. I grinned and turned around, now I was looking at Kiba, he wasn't that bad looking either. He had short brown, spiky hair, and black eyes. He looked pretty fit too which was nice. He also had some tattoos on his face, upside down triangles.
He too noticed me looking at him. "What? You checking me out Amaya?" He smirked. I smirk back, "Of course, I can't keep my eyes off you" I purred, trying to mess with him.
It worked because he started to blush. I chuckled a bit at his reaction."I was just messing with you Kiba!" I exclaimed while wrapping an arm around his shoulder. He just turned around to hide his face from me, "Whatever."
I giggled and let go of him, now my next victim was Gaara. I turned and looked back at him. He has red hair, and beautiful sea foam colored eyes. He also has a tattoo on the left side of his forehead, the kanji for love. I could look at him all day, man all my friends are good looking.
Of course he noticed my staring too, I wasn't very discreet about it. He looked back at me with a raised, non-existing, brow. "Is there a problem?", he asked me. "Nope, just basking in your beauty."
He looked a little bewildered with a bit of a blush appearing on his face. I smiled at him and turned to the others. Sakura was pretty too, and Naruto I already looked at, so that left Sasuke.
He had bluish black hair, onyx eyes and a nice face.He was pretty handsome so no wonder he has girls mobbing him. But his hair, I squinted my eyes. How did it manage to look like a duck's butt? Is it natural or does he purposely make it look like that?
Oh and surprise surprise, he noticed me. He just gave me a look that asked "What?" I mouthed the words "Your hair." He just looked at me all stoic like. "What about my hair?" He said out loud. Oh Sasuke, you brought this upon yourself.
"Does it naturally look like a duck's butt, or do you do that on purpose?" The whole class busted out laughing. He glared at me then looked away with a "hmph". Finally after God knows how long the teacher showed up. "Hello class, sorry I'm late I just got lost on the path of life."
"I'm new here and even I can tell that's a lame excuse." I said, again the class started to laugh. The teacher looked at me. "So you're the new student, why don't you introduce yourself."
I stood up and faced the class."Hello everyone, my name is Amaya Uzumaki and I'm new, any questions?" Many hands raised up. "You in the back with blue hair." "Are you related to Naruto?" I nodded my head, "Yeah we're cousins."
More people raise their hands. "Okay, girl with the pink bow." I say she lowers her hand and asks, "Where you from?" "America!" I exclaim. Another guy raises his hand."Okay dude you next." "Do you have a boyfriend?"
That piqued some of the guy's interest. "No, I don't."" Would you go out with me?", some random guy yells."Okay, okay enough questions let's start class", Kakashi instructed.
Class was really boring since he had us do silent work and it got even more so when I already finished. I stared at our teacher who was currently reading a book with an orange cover, he was a weird one. He had half of his face and his left eye covered, and his hair somehow defied gravity.
I decided to take a nap and was really enjoying it until someone shook me. "Amaya wake up, class is over." It was Hinata. I sat up and stretched my arms.
I glanced at the door and noticed my friends waiting for me. I got my bag and stood up, Hinata walking with me. "Awwww you guys waited for me!" I gushed when Hinata and I caught up.
"Of course! I can't leave my cousin by herself!" Naruto exclaimed while putting an arm around me. I turned and looked at Hinata. She was blushing and looking at Naruto. Mwahahahaha! She likes him, this is valuable information.
"So where to next?" I ask my beloved cousin. He looks at me and yells."To science!" I grinned and side hugged him."To science!" I fist pumped. "Anyone who has our class follow us! But if you don't be gone!"
Everyone laughed and walked away. "Wait! Not my friends! Nooooooooooo!" Only Sasuke, Naruto and I were left."See ya later Amaya!" Kiba yelled, Sakura, Hinata and Gaara waved."I'll never forget you!" I yelled as Naruto dragged me away.
