After I let Bella’s beauty sink in, I took two long steps until I reached her. I took her hands in mine, and lowered my lips to place a delicate kiss on her tiny hand that was wrapped between my long fingers. “You never fail to blow my mind.” I complimented. She chuckled and said, “And you never fail to make me laugh.”

My phone's alarm rang and broke the trance we were lost in which meant that we had to leave to pick up Rose. The thing about Rose, is that if you’re half a second late, she wouldn’t hesitate to break everything you had between each other, believe me, I witnessed it before.

“Come on beautiful, we must go right now or else we would get killed." I said with a goofy smile. “Tell me about it.” She said rolling her eyes, she knew exactly who and what I was talking about. She placed her bag in her palms and soon we were on our way to hell.

"Hey Bella, what a surprise to see you here,” she paused for a second, “and sitting in the front seat.” Rose faked a smile as she stood expectantly in front of Bella’s door. Bella, being the naive girl she is, looked at me then started collecting her self getting ready to get out of the seat.

I held her hand tightly and looked at her sternly whispering, “Don’t.” She looked between me and a tamed Rose weighing her choices. “Rose, get in the car, now,” I growled. She quickly obliged fumbling with the door then setting herself behind Bella’s chair. And I can swear that she kicked the chair infuriatingly.

“I missed you so much, Bell." Rose said with the fakest smile a human being can muster. After a long drive, of Rose glaring at me, and Bella lightly laughing at every comment or joke I throw in the thick air, we finally arrived. I felt bad for Bella, she didn’t deserve Rose to mock her every word.

We entered Julie’s birthday -one of my 7 friends- to find ourselves facing reckless teenagers, enjoying the time of their lives; swaying with the tune on the dance floors with cups full of shit in their hands. Bella quickly grasped my hand and squeezed, I squeezed back to assure her that she’ll be fine.

“Oh, Bella, I forgot you have a bad past with parties,” Rose smirked. “Shut it.” I hissed, gaining a tighter squeeze on my hand from Bella. Rose huffed rolling her eyes before scanning the crowd for our group.

“Oh look! There they are.” Rose said before striding toward our mutual friends. “Oh, my god,” Bella breathed before pulling her hand from my grasp and running towards Paul, who was vomiting in the corner. I rolled my eyes at her actions even though she can’t see me.

I trailed after her until I reached them and found Paul sitting on the floor leaning on the wall behind him, with Bella kneeled beside him rubbing her hands up and down his back, to somehow comfort him.

“Violets are red,

Roses are blue,

You are so pretty,

But he likes you.” Paul mumbled.

“Paul, violets are not red.” Bella said laughing, going along with his blabbing. “But my Violet has red hair!” he complained. “Your Violet?” I smirked.

“Dude, you’re ignoring the important part here,” he said to me then turned his head facing Bella and said, “He likes you.” Bella smiled looking at the ground with a blush on her pale cheeks.

Out of nowhere, Rose was standing in front of me with her hands crossed. “Would you like to explain what he just said?” she asked, her cheeks, too, were red. But they weren’t red because of a blush, she was, angry, mad, and furious. God be with me.
