Surprisingly he does something that I would never expect.

He bends down and says something to me which no one would normally do. But what he says is the thing that really surprises me the most.
"Is this seat taken" he says in his surprisingly deep voice.
I hesitantly shake my head. He slides in to the seat and I wonder why he sat with me of all people. I try to make sense of it on the way to school.
He says something when he gets up because I hear his voice again.
"Excuse me" I say questionably not knowing what he said.
"I said that you don't have to be shy. I know you are half werewolf but you are now safe because you are mine." He tells me. I tilt my head in a confused way. I think about it for a while and put my hand out for a hand shake. "Friends?" I state. He grabs my hand and I feel tingles go up my arm and strait through my body.
" No not friends," he whispers huskily in my ear. "Something more than that, we're..." he continues. He then nuzzles his head in my neck and says a word I never expected to hear from him or any boy on our bus or school for that matter. "Mates" he finishes.
