As I sat in the passenger seat of Grayson's car I began to think.. Was inviting Ethan really a good idea? By the tone of his text message he didn't sound at all excited that we invited him. Whatever I guess we'll see when we get there
I was again staring out the window overthinking things like usual when I felt Grayson tap my thigh
"Hey are you okay? You look so depressed staring off into space" He laughed
"Im okay just thinking" I smiled at him
"What you thinking about" He asked leaning into me trying to be nosey
"Nothing i'm fine Grayson, really" I assured him. But was I really fine? So much stuff keeps filling my head and I overthink everything
We pull up to Tabby's house and park in the front. I open the car door and hop out and start walking towards the front door with Grayson. We knock on her door and tabby opens the door with a huge smile on her face.
" come in come in!!" she smiles and we walk inside with her shutting the door behind us.
"Oh yeah Katie texted me that she couldn't come, she had to go pick her cousin up from the airport." Tabby explains to us
" oh okay no problem. And by the way is it cool that we invited Ethan? He will be over shortly" I walk up to her throwing my arm around her shoulder.
"Yeah of course. The more the marrier" She laughs and we walk over to her couch to pick some movies out
We decided to pick a scary movie because Grayson wanted to watch a scary movie but let me tell you, I absolutely hate scary movies. Stupid Grayson
Just as we were about to start the movie we hear a knock on the door. Tabby walks over and opens the door revealing Ethan. Damn he looked good.
Wait.. No.. What am I saying. Elle stop it
He was wearing grey joggers with his old skool vans paired with a white hoodie. I hear Tabby say hi to him but he didn't say anything back. He just walked in and sat on the couch next to me and Grayson.
Why do I always get stuck sitting in between both of them?
" Hey Ethan" I lean over and whisper in his ear
He looks at me and nods his head signaling he's saying hey back. Tabby comes in bringing a big bowl of popcorn and sits next to Grayson and I. She grabs the remote and presses play and instantly I regret agreeing to watch this. Grayson knows I hate scary movies so I don't know why he decided to choose one.
About half way into the movie I am still shitting my pants trying not to look at the T.V Ethan reaches over me and grabs a handful of popcorn and shoves some in his mouth. He hasn't said one word all night so just to annoy him I grabbed some popcorn he had in his hand and put it in my mouth. I could feel his eyes beaming into my soul.
"What the heck" He whispers
"What? I wanted some" I say to him still looking at the t.v
" theres a giant bowl right next to you"
" I wanted some of yours don't be salty" I say with attitude and he looks back at the movie
We continued watching the movie when someone interrupts us by standing right infront of the t.v.
" Hiba what the hell are you doing I told you to stay upstairs" Tabby screams at the random girl standing infront of us
" No i'm bored let me hang out with you guys" Hiba says squeezing her butt right in between me and Ethan.
