Chapter 3

I storm into Grayson's room and grab all of my things. I really don't know what happened with Ethan in there but it was weird and I don't want it to happen again

"what are you doing Elle? Did Ethan talk to you? Did he hurt you? Grayson asked looking worried.

" No Grayson Ethan didn't do anything I-I just have to um get home my dad is making dinner and I have a shit ton of homework to do" I said as i gathered all of my things very fast.

" you have homework on the first day of school?" Grayson said very confused

" yeah haha y-you know how Ms. Powers is aha." I said not really knowing what to said

Grayson just rolled his eyes and got up off his bed and walked downstairs with me and we got in his car and drove away.

We finally arrived to my house and I jumped out of his car and ran into my house without even saying bye to Grayson. I didn't need Grayson asking me more questions.

I ran upstairs into my room, closed my door and sat on my bed. I was just so confused with what happened at Grayson's house and I needed to make sure it didn't happen again. As I was in deep thought with myself I heard a car door shut. My dad must be home.

I got up off my bed and went downstairs and was greeted by my dad.

"Hey honey! how was your first day of school?" My dad asked

"It was good, nothing special." I said with a monotone voice

"I brought home some pizza so we could have a movies and pizza night! how does that sound?"

"perfect" I smiled

Me and my dad sat on the couch and ate the whole box of pizza and watched spider-man homecoming.

Once the movie was over I kissed my dad on the cheek and went to bed.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

There it is again. The sound of my annoying ass alarm clock.

I got up and did my usual morning routine. Brushed my teeth, straightened my hair, washed my face, put makeup on and picked out an outfit.

Today i decided to wear a black tube top and some black high waisted leggings paired with my white vans. I also decided to wear some overlapping necklaces to make the outfit pop.

Just when I had finished putting my shoes on I heard my phone vibrate. I already knew who it was so I ran downstairs, grabbed a banana, kissed my dad on the cheek, and headed out the door where I see Grayson sitting in his black bmw waiting for me.

I jumped into the passenger seat of his car and blasted the radio.

"why are you in such a good mood today?" Grayson said laughing

"I don't know i'm just feeling happy today" I said smiling

The whole ride there we sang along to " I miss the old you" by black bear

Today is Friday and we are about 3 weeks into senior year. I haven't talked to Ethan since the little incident we had that one day. In class he just talks to his other friends that sit next to him or he fucks around with Mr. Wise.

We arrived at school and we both got out of the car and headed into our first period classes.

"Ill talk to you at lunch" Grayson said and I nodded

I walk into class and sit in my seat. Then..he comes in late. Like always.

" Mr Dolan late again, and why am I not surprised. " Mr. Wise said
