I didn't know how long I had been in here

I didn't know how long I had been in here. Hours, days, weeks; it felt like months. I knew Hay would be searching everywhere for me by now, and I also knew that he would've figured out by now what was happening to me.

Over the course of, how ever long I'd been in here, I'd seen my father once. It wasn't particularly a nice visit but it was particularly painful. Dried blood and bruises scattered over my arms and I knew they would be all over my face too.

Lost in thought, I didn't see father walk in, until I felt his presence. Rising my dropped head to look at him, he grinned.

"Hecate, my love, my daughter, you're so beautiful," he slurred over his words.

"You're drunk, dad," my voice was raspy and felt foreign coming out of my mouth.

He ignored my words and continued what he was saying, "you know I love you right? Everything I do is to guide you and shape you into the leader you need to be."

I grimaced at his words, dad was turned into a mortal when he was shipped to the isle and I guess after years of seeing what happens in the after life, he wasn't too happy that one day he'd be down there with the rest of them.

"I'm protecting you Hecate, you should be thankful of me," he rambled on; swinging the whiskey bottle, that was in his hand, around carelessly.

"Protecting me? Father your idea of protection is a joke," I mumbled quietly, immediately regretting my words; as I knew he would hear them.

"Speak up Hecate, don't be scared," his face and voice had turned more sour than ever.

"Come on just speak up, you idiot," he voice began to rise as he started lifting me out of the pool by my forearm. He dragged me to the corner as I stayed quiet.

"JUST SPEAK UP GOD DAMMIT. WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME?" He kicked me, as I tried to cover my face with my arms; pain radiated over my body and I felt as though I couldn't breathe. He continued to punch and kick me, pinning me up against the wall.

I spoke up, my anger getting the best of me "Protect me? Is that a joke? I hate you, I hate you so much that it hurts. You're disgusting, no wonder you're stuck here. You were never good enough to be one of the gods, and trust me when you die and you're with the rest of those zombies. That's when you'll know what pain is, you will be in hell, father!" I spat my words out like venom, and i knew I would regret them; but I couldn't help myself.

He threw what was left in the whiskey bottle in my direction, glass shattered around me and I felt the shards poke into my skin.

"Feel this pain daughter, because this is what you are going to feel for the rest of your life. Once I'm gone you'll meet a nice boy, and he will turn out just like me and you will never feel happiness. Do you know why Hecate? Because you are a no good little bitch, and pain is all you will ever deserve." He was so close His alcohol covered breath smothered my face, as I tried to hold back tears from the immense pain in my chest and body.

"Now look what you've made me do, wasted a perfectly good drink; clean up this mess when you leave," his voice echoed the room as he left, as though he was still in the room with me.

As I tried to get up pain and panic emerged from the far corner.

"Here Hecate, let us help," panics voice was timid and frightened ( much like him ), yet he still managed to help me, along with pain, in getting me on my feet and guiding me to my bedroom.

As I laid on the bed, I felt myself drifting into sleep, only feeling pain and panic removing the shards of glass and cleaning me up.

A/N: I know it's short but I want to get a chapter out to those reading this story. I've been so busy and I probably will be for the next 2 weeks, but I'm going to try and continue updating.
Thanks for reading guys!
