Bella's POV

"Why are you helping her? She's a vampire?" I questioned Lucy after Katherine left.

"Says the girl who has a vampire lover." She replied. "You should really not stick your nose where it doesn't belong. Here, wear this." She handed me a black sequin dress with a touch of gold.

"Are you serious? You are really going to let Katherine have her way? She's using you." I tried to reason with her. "We are witches. We should stand together and not work against each other."

"I know Katherine. Just do what you are told to do and you will be fine. Trust me," She pleaded with her eyes. I rolled my eyes at her and got up to change. I have to get out of here somehow and it's the perfect opportunity.

"You look nice."

"Why am I going with you again? You could just let me be locked up here." I asked her.

"Yes, I can. But then how will you get to your friends," she winked at me.

"What? You'll help me," I asked surprised.

"Katherine wasn't honest with me. She didn't tell me there was another witch involved. We are witches. We do stand together." She smiled at me as she repeated my words.

"Thank you."

"Don't thank me yet. There's a lot of work to do. Let's leave, Katherine's already there."

Damon's POV (At Masquerade Party)

She still hasn't called me back till now. But that should not be my concern right now. I have to focus on Katherine right now. "Do you see her?" I asked Stefan.

"Nope. You're sure you can do this?" He questioned.

"Who are you talking to?" I am not Stefan Salvatore.

"Oh, I had the chance to kill her and I hesitated," he arched his brows at me.

"Well, that is the fork in the road between you and me, my friend. I don't hesitate." I replied.

"You spend 145 years loving her. It could happen."

"I won't hesitate." I said slowly so the words could sink in his mind.

"Okay."

Bella's POV

We are at the masquerade party.

"Go, find your friends." Lucy told me.

"Wait, my powers. Give me my powers back."

"I can't Bella. Katherine asked me to take your powers away and link you to her. I can't undo it till she says I'm done. I owe her." She explained. I nodded and went looking for Bonnie, Damon, anyone.

"Wait, Lucy." I turned back but she was already gone. I needed a phone.

Damon's POV

I can't believe she managed to kill the girl in public.

"Where's the body?" I asked Stefan. We are in a secluded room.

"I put the body in the trunk for now," he said.

"We'll dump her when we get back." I looked at Stefan's face. I'm sure he didn't want things to go this way. "Stefan, it's collateral damage." Relax, like seriously.

"Right, which is why we need to call it off." He ordered.

"What? Who's hesitating now? Hey! Don't do this to me! This woman ruined our lives, she destroyed us! Tonight it ends. We can do it together. I got your back. All right?" I talked him through and he agrees. Just then my phone rings. I looked at Stefan.
