Panera Bread

I woke up at 9:00 AM and started getting ready. I started with a nice 20 minute shower and getting dressed. Then I brushed my already straight hair and towel dried it. I don't bother with makeup, but I did manage some tinted pink lipgloss.

For my outfit, I wore my Medium-dark colored shorts, a grey Mickey Mouse top, and my black ankle boots. To top it off, I added a cardigan over my shirt. I brushed my hair once again now that it was dry, and took one last glance in the mirror. It's was already 11:36 AM.

I asked my neighbors son Shane to drive me there. It was too far to walk, and my parents are out of town for business reasons. When we arrived, I thanked him. It was 11:52 AM, so I kiked Jeffrey and told him I was there. He kiked back and said he was almost there.

I sat down at a table and waited. About two minutes later a boy wearing sunglasses walked through the door and sat down across from me.

"Well aren't you a cutie?"

"I'm waiting for someone."

"You've been waiting for the wrong person then."

The boy took off his sunglasses and revealed a rather attractive boy around my age.

"I'm sorry but I'm really waiting on someone. Could you please-"

"Move?"

I looked up to see Jeffrey standing above me. Wow. He's pretty tall! The boy got up from the seat, and walked off with his sunglasses in had.

"Thanks."

"No problem."

"So you must be Kalissa?"

"Yes. Obviously your Jeffrey."

"Yes!" and the conversation went on for two hours. We had a lot in common, but we also had some differences.

We finally decided we were hungry and walked up to order. When it was our turn, Jeffrey wrapped his arm around my waist when I was ordering. I didn't complain a bit.

When we finished ordering, we sat back down and waited for our food. When the waitress dropped our food off she looked at us and smiled. "Awe what a cute couple!" She giggled then walked away. Me and Jeffrey blushed at this.

"So were a cute couple huh Kalissa?"

"I guess yeah."

"Well were cute, but were not a couple. Unless you wanna be?"

"Um. I-i. Uh. I-"

"Hey take it easy. If you don't want to I understand okay."

"I do, I'm just really shocked."

"So Kalissa. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes. Yes I will."

We ate and then decided it was time to go.

"I'll call my neighbor to pick me up." I reached into my pocket ad pulled out my phone. Before I could unlock it, Jeffrey put his hand over mine to stop me.

"I'll take you home. Just let me call my mom."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. Your my girlfriend, so I'd do anything for you."

"Thanks." I said giggling.

He talked to his mom for a minute then said she'd be here in about five minutes. I nodded and checked my phone.

When Jeffrey's mom arrived, he stood up and stuck his hand out as an invitation for mine. I accepted and he intertwined our fingers. Before we got into the Red SUV, Jeffrey kissed me on the cheek, causing me to blush.

"Want me to sit by you?"

"Yeah. If you want I mean."

"Sure."

We both climbed in the backseat.

"So what's your address sweetie?" Jeffrey's mom asked.

"It's XX XXXXX XXXXXXXX XXXXX"

"Really? That's not too far from our house. It's only two blocks away."

"Cool. Maybe Jeffrey could stop by sometime."

"Will do."

The rest of the car drive was me and Jeffrey singing along to the radio together. Then we arrived at my house.

"Thanks Jeffrey. Thanks Mrs. Miller!"

"Okay. Love you. Kik me later!"

"Love you too. Okay I will.

"Oh. Loovvve?" Jeffrey's mom teased.

"Just drive mom!"
