Chapter 18

The pain. It was unbearable, I've never felt like this before. A warm liquid ran down my chin and I cautiously reached up to wipe it.

Pulling my hand away, it was then I realised it was blood. I let out a whimper as I tried to move.

I looked down to see a metal bar piercing my stomach. The fuck happened?

"Miss are you alright?" A voice called and I started to become dizzy.

"The fuck do you think?" I croaked out as I fell in and out if consciousness.

"Oh my god, help! Help!" The man yelled as he came into view.

His eyes widened and he ran a hand through his hair.

"I'm gonna go get help" He explained and ran off down the road.

My phone lit up saying I was getting a call from Jessica. I put it on loud speaker as I answered it.

"Scar? Where are you? Ricky said he thought you were coming over" She said and I felt more blood dribble down my chin.

"Jess. I'm stuck in the car" I croaked and I gingerly wiped the blood from my chin.

"What do you mean?"

"The car, it crashed. There's a metal bar stuck in my stomach" I coughed and she gasped.

"Oh my god Scar! I'm gonna call Ricky, I'll call you straight back. I promise" And with that, the line went dead.

"Miss! An ambulance is on the way" The man yelled as he ran over with some more people.

I tried to nod, but my neck stiffened. I went to blink, but it was painful to even blink.

Darkness started to surround me as the man ran over. He held my face in his bloody hands and started yelling at the others.

My eyelids finally began to shut, then the darkness took over me.

"What do you mean the car crashed?" I asked as Chris's head shot towards me.

"I called her to see where she was, she said she was stuck in the car" Jessica whimpered and I sighed.

"Thank you baby, you stay in the house and we're going to look for her. I love you"

"I love you too Ricky"

I hung up and Chris jumped to his feet.

"The car crashed?" He asked and I nodded.

"Now c'mon, we have to go find her. And make sure you lock the door" I said and ran out to my car.

Chris jumped in afterwards and we drove off down the road.

"Chris man, are you okay?" I asked as I saw his knees shaking constantly.

"I'm scared Rick, what if I lose her?" He whispered as flashing lights sped past us.

An ambulance.

"I don't know Chris, I really don't" I explained.

My eyes widened at the sight before me. A car was flipped onto its side, and the other one was crashed against the tree.

I shut off the engine and I jumped out of the car. Chris ran over to the car against the tree, but was stopped by a paramedic.

"Sir, you can't go past here"

"To hell I can't! That's my girlfriend in that car!" Chris yelled.

There was firemen trying to cut a metal bar from the car, I felt tears fill my eyes.
